• Islandora 7.x-1.3 release updates (Nick & Melissa)

  • Release Candidate pushed out on Monday.
  • DGI folks have been cleaning up major bugs.
  • Paul applied fixes to newspaper sp
  • Nick merging to 7.x-1.3 branch and pushing to Melissa for testing
  • MJ and Nick have mostly completed the Chef VM. A couple of issues to resolve. Melissa testing Chef/VM installs and will provide feedback to the list.
  • Discussion about Chef scripts and Islandora Foundation

• Discussion: Islandora Interest Groups Proposal (Donald)

  • General discussion about the Islandora Interest Group.
  • Vote: +1 votes for all attending the meeting. Donald didn't vote.
  • MA will post the Islandora Interest Group Guidelines to website
  • MA will update wording on Islandora
  • DM will confirm Islandora Preservation Interest Group membership and will post IPIG and invitation to join.

• Discussion: Documentation to Github

  • Feedback from community. Google groups discussion
  • Versioning of documentation is the issue.
  • Revisit the discussion at a later date.

• Islandora/Fedora 4 Alpha Project

  • Draft document explaining position/challenges/caveats
    • DM shared the outline document

  • Typical content model use case is already supported using 'mix-ins' and testing this is needed.
