- Welcome to Ian! He is taking over from Janice on the ICC for SFU.
- Notes from theme sub working group:
- Rosie: Will this new theme be dependant on islandora_defaults?
- There was some discussions in the working group meeting about refactoring defaults to be an install profile.
- Bethany: Maybe we should outline some of these items to be goals for the future sprint so that they are not lost as that sprint progresses.
- No new business to report.
- No one from the meeting was at ICC to update.
- Danny gave an ISLE update at the meeting and there is a new ISLE 7 release out.
- No updates from IG.
- Danny had an update about how ASU is running a multi-site right now with multiple solr indexes and a Drupal multisite that could be investigated as a possible way forward for multi-tenancy.

- https://keep.lib.asu.edu/ Documentation Interest Group There was interest in putting together a hack/doc style event to work on the Islandora documentation. Discussion on the material theme and planning for 2021. https://github.com/islandora-interest-groups/Islandora-Documentation-Interest-Group/blob/main/meetings/2021/01-13-21.md
Updates from Danny:
- Work ongoing on with ISLE.
- Islandora is currently supporting both Drupal 8 and Drupal 9. There are a handful of modules that are not supported anymore because of this shift. There will be a small amount of work to go from Drupal 8 to Drupal 9 as sites are updated, but it is a fairly minor upgrade. This update needs to be released and some documentation put together around the update process as part of this release.
- Danny and Nigel have been working on getting getting a release process together to tag releases.
- There needs to be some communication around the updates for the release so that people don’t get tripped up with these updates. If you do a composer update this won’t force you to go to Drupal 9.
Islandora open meeting coming soon.
