Notes

1. Curse you, Travis! Rosie has a fix in, of sorts, using the open version of our theme just to test PRs. This is the suggested solution from Travis. PR Merged, all is well.
2. Islandora Defaults refactoring: Two PRs open now that somewhat address this. Defaults is complex: can we separate it out so the content type just has fields, and views move to a module that carries some of the dependencies with it? How do we update this Islandora module? The Feature-based process is not clean. Multisite will deploy this content module, but with different configurations. How to manage this? How to we get updates with Defaults in place? Do we provide an update path for people who have not altered Defaults? We're not hearing from that use case, but it's not one that we can expect to have much presence at these kinds of meetings. Further discussion around metadata and object modelling - can we break administrative metadata from descriptive metadata? There are five "magic fields" that have to be there, but can we break out the rest? A plain content type? The magic fields: field_member_of, field_media_of, field_model, field_media_use, field_external_uri. Can we have several community-supported metadata profiles? MODs-flavoured, DC-flavoured, etc. We would provide the update hooks for those. Any customizations beyond that would be on the adopter, not the community.
