Alexander: Noted bug where the file itself doesn't get created.
Jordan: What we've seen with batch upload children form, it doesn't necessarily take into account your media types.
- If you wanted your image to go to a certain directory, it ignores it and relies on a separate config form.
Out of the box unless you configure behaviour, the files you upload go to temp.
Adam: Wizard stuff looks neat, looks like multi-ingest stuff but more generalized. Looks like it might allow those dependent fields to be set up.
The hesitance to go ahead and do this is it would add a dependency in islandora proper.
Before approaching, we're curious if there are any strong opinions for or against adding a dependency.
Alex: ctools has always been a pretty solid thing to add to a Drupal site.
Jordan: Bring up at next tech call for more input.

Rosie: When you install islandora it breaks your site and that's because there's a broken handler in the EVA view.
- Solution: Disable EVA view by default, status = FALSE.
Alexander: Never had great luck with EVA.
Jordan: If you provision an islandora site and you don't have field_media_of configured on media it results in whitescreen.
Jordan: Other things in core where there may be other things that expect this field - so they may come up. Can be handled piece by piece.
Jordan: Is it possible to do config dependencies on fields? View dependent on field? Optional config?
Alexander: You can put specific config items more than just module.
Jordan: Does this go down to a field level or not?
Since this view requires fields placed in defaults, you could place the view in defaults.
Alexander: That one view could be in the optional folder, and depending on islandora defaults at minimum. You can declare things to be dependent on a configuration item, not sure of the mechanics of that.
Rosie: If you install islandora core features first, and then defaults, will you get that view?
Alex: It'll try to juggle the dependencies if you invoke both.
Rosie: It would be really weird to have the dependencies mixed up like that.

Rosie: Migrate+ v.6 is only compatible wiht Drupal 9 so ersion requirement updated.

Rosie: There is code that detects is_islandora
And there's also a context condition that checks if this is an islandora node
They didn't use the same test, so Rosie updated the context condition to use the internal drupal views thing.
Also created a filter, so you can see your islandora objects, not-islandora objects.
