Alan has done some investigation and reported his findings to the group. +1'd by the group to proceed with his simplification + added functionality as outlined in the issue and discussed during the call. Namely: remove what appears to be redundant translation handling in the node cleanup code and refactor code for better maintainability.

Briefly discussed Windows docker support. It sounds like it might be possible to run the ISLE stack on Windows, but no one on the call has done this for several years.

Post agenda discussion

Issues with reading/writing to the /tmp directory in Drupal ISLE stack. This has been an issue for many years depending on the site setup. Underlying issue still being investigated. Next step will try mounting a volume to /tmp in the drupal container to see if that helps.
