So i guess that the last number might encode something non technical.

So far I haven't been able to find any not ending on 8 on any distributor etc

Yea not even molex itself finds the numbers listed in the datasheet so i assume the drawing is simply out of date. (Maybe the number shows some sort of standard compliance and the one without it is no longer sold.)
