RTVision T3 Code 0.0.76

This release merges 74 upstream commits through 43f8a8de17a7ac1baa7a3cf36d681856de2d8add.

  • Muse Code is now a native provider. Provider packages and shared adapter services follow upstream's extraction. Pi gains continuation turns, skill loading, editor answers, and rewind reconciliation.
  • Chat gains a per-thread compaction chip, Find across messages and plans, clearer timeline/search styling, and better composer, sidebar, folder-loading, and terminal behavior. JetBrains can open remote projects over SSH.
  • Usage totals load progressively with provider filtering. Cursor, Antigravity, shell snapshots, ACP streaming, and long-thread sync use less repeated work. PR merge detection settles threads promptly.
  • Browser and file previews gain downloads, page anchors, draft-thread media, better tab navigation and remote ownership, bounded history, improved screenshot crops, and desktop fullscreen/shortcut/reload fixes. Electron is 44.4.5.
  • Connections show route permissions and enforce session expiry/revocation. GitHub Enterprise recognition, pairing, cloudflared updates, and logged-out Claude detection improve. Claude MCP credentials stay out of process arguments.
  • Mobile fixes screen order, swipe-back and image previews, matches web thread status labels, and improves Android HTML scrolling.

The integration fixes Find history retries and Mermaid search, preserves browser runtime/profile when reopening tabs, clears retained Usage totals when diagnostics access changes, and handles desktop CLI PATH collisions without removing an existing launcher.

RTVision retains Gitea/Forgejo, registry routing, Node/npm/OpenRC, Alpine support, SSH/WSL, Vim/editor controls, and its release packaging. Upstream replaces equivalent fork pairing, screenshot retry, compaction, and module implementations.

Desktop installers are unsigned. Node installations use @rtvision/t3 from https://npm-registry.rtvision.com/.

Fix browser tabs and HTML previews on musl Linux by using native Chromium. Hosts can also select a Chromium executable with T3CODE_PREVIEW_BROWSER_PATH. Other hosts retain the pinned Chrome downloader, and browser sandboxing remains enabled.

On Alpine, install matching chromium and chromium-swiftshader packages before using the Browser panel. See browser host setup.

The browser fix was reviewed by Astra and Opus and passed 48 focused tests, including isolated native Chromium rendering and storage checks.

RTVision T3 Code uses @rtvision/t3 from https://npm-registry.rtvision.com/ and desktop updates from this repository. Desktop installers are unsigned.

Syncs 81 upstream commits from b77108bc41506ad7ba28839d9a8e04ba79fe340b through 30cc788975500a8c00d32a50f348174d1ce578d1. Release source is c7ae202f2ea8df40930a7bc9f91448885f1338a9, merged in PR #83. The PR records every upstream commit and all 66 fork-overlap decisions.

New features

  • MCP Apps render inline in web and mobile threads, with fullscreen support and Codex-backed tool operations. RTVision adds destination permission checks before approval and execution.
  • The web rich composer supports block Markdown and code blocks. Quote chips show the annotation attached to a quote.
  • Find in diffs with Cmd+F searches folded and unchanged lines. RTVision Vim search uses this upstream engine with count, repeat, and cleanup support.
  • Desktop Settings can install or remove the bundled t3 command. Windows shows the absolute launcher path and its command-precedence caveat.
  • Mobile adopts v5 navigation and native iPad columns, and redesigns Add environment.
  • Agents can see snooze state and link to threads by durable IDs. Live rows show the agent's latest thought. Projectless threads show their machine in the sidebar.
  • Claude Haiku 5.5 is available; Sonnet 5 and Opus 5 move to legacy. Claude 5-series models use 1M context.

Server and provider fixes

  • Git status refresh avoids CPU spikes in repositories with thousands of untracked files. Background branch lookups share a GitHub query per sweep.
  • Threads settle when a client observes their PR merge. Cleanup handles squash merges, terminal thread states, hidden untracked files, and Windows long paths conservatively.
  • Background Claude subagent work remains visible while the parent is idle. Refused turns preserve their session, and prompts no longer hang on a UUID already held by the session.
  • Idle Codex threads unload from the shared app server. RTVision binds unload timers to their originating runtime and cancels them on replacement.
  • Command replay and long-thread reads use indexed paths to avoid server stalls. Held queued wakes no longer keep delegated tasks running. Messages sent during rollback no longer undo it.
  • GitHub services use the API directly, share a variable-based GraphQL pager, and read response quotas. RTVision preserves exact-host/repository checkout safeguards, Gitea/Forgejo, CI, viewed files, dependencies, granular reactions, and destination grants. Ordinary GitHub Update branch again uses upstream authorization.
  • Missing project folders no longer cause favicon warnings. A stale renamed test helper is corrected.

Web and desktop fixes

  • Running subagent cards stay visible after the parent settles; lineage retains effort and speed after completion. Lineage controls use Stop on hover instead of timers.
  • Onboarding can continue when selected machines will not connect. Type-to-focus no longer scrambles fast typing. Thread-read activity uses live names, and thread links no longer bake in titles.
  • Rich-composer carets restore correctly after a code fence whose info string contains a mention. Cancelling a citation leaves no stray space. Short messages containing quotes or links retain their content.
  • Provider updates show live progress. Copy MCP URL works for plain HTTP environments. More languages receive file icons.
  • PR skeletons match the detail layout; file names, toolbar, commit menu, scrollbar gutter, and file statistics behave correctly in narrow panels and with whitespace hidden. RTVision retains viewed folding, dependency navigation, private Markdown, and grant checks; CI remains accessible without a status rollup.
  • Workspace rows and headers, project monograms, command-palette scrolling, Usage breadcrumbs, and iPhone Duo folds receive layout fixes.
  • Desktop browser sign-in and captcha flows resume correctly. Setup prompts name a command that works with desktop installs.

Mobile fixes and performance

  • Disabled environments' threads are hidden. The Android composer picker scrolls beyond its first four rows. File viewer and diff insets align with glass headers.
  • Cached thread lists appear sooner. Bounded snapshots omit duplicate items, hidden screens pause timers and list updates, and cache saves reuse encoded rows.
  • Git status stops refreshing on every streamed item and avoids the Git-sheet refresh loop. It refreshes after reconnect, and iOS Git menus follow current status.
  • Move-menu indexes and thread-key lookups avoid unnecessary allocation; unchanged settled rows reuse their sort. Normal builds skip showcase subscriptions and unused project sorting.
  • iOS memory warnings trigger UI runtime collection. Source highlighting runs in small batches while retaining grammar state.

RTVision compatibility

Upstream replaces the duplicate fork diff search and obsolete GitHub CLI services. Fork behavior remains where still needed: Gitea/Forgejo, terminal editors, SSH/WSL runner and account selection, grammar support, low-disk handling, registry/update routing, and release packaging.

Node/npm and OpenRC installations retain the node_modules/t3/dist/bin.mjs and service-launcher paths. Alpine uses the Node/npm package and builds node-pty for musl; the standalone Linux archive requires glibc. Windows desktop includes the matching Linux archive for WSL.

The inherited npm Linux resource monitor is glibc-linked and lacks its executable bit. Native resource telemetry is therefore unavailable through that npm payload, including on Alpine. Node service and PTY compatibility are qualified separately. Desktop and standalone payloads retain their executable monitor.

Use @rtvision/t3 from https://npm-registry.rtvision.com/. Desktop and standalone updates use this repository. Desktop installers are unsigned. No live service restart or deployment is part of this release.

Validation

Primary review and independent GPT-6 Astra reviews approved the exact source candidate; merged source is byte-identical. CodeRabbit skipped 411 files against its 100-file limit, so the maintainer-authorized large-diff fallback was used. Final-candidate and merged-head CI and release builds passed. All eleven assets, SHA256SUMS, updater metadata, CLI/npm layouts, installer payloads, and the embedded WSL archive were verified.

Clean Node24.18.1/Alpine installation of the exact tarball passed CLI version, normal and legacy service preflight, and real node-pty execution. The existing optional OpenCode client peer declaration still reports an Effect metadata mismatch in npm ls; the patched client is bundled, no external client import remains, and the required runtime probes pass. This is a retained advisory rather than a clean dependency-metadata result.

Published registry metadata and tarball bytes match the verified npm asset and SHA-512 integrity. A second clean Alpine install from the registry using the legacy t3 npm alias passed CLI, normal and legacy service preflight, and real PTY checks.

@github-actions github-actions released this 07 Oct 10:36
e187b6b

RTVision T3 Code 0.0.73 incorporates 55 upstream commits: 21 features, 27 fixes and 7 supporting changes.

Major additions include direct host-aware GitHub APIs and account selection, external MCP OAuth for hosted agents, granular connection permissions, passive terminal observation, linked-PR fast actions, grouped keybindings, lineage subagent stop and worktree-settle actions.

Upstream implementations replace superseded fork transport, authorization and diff patches. RTVision Gitea/Forgejo, Vim/editor workflows, registry/update routing, Node/npm/OpenRC, Alpine/node-pty, SSH/WSL and packaging remain. All 108 fork-overlap decisions and exact review receipts are recorded in PR #82.

This release includes verified follow-up repairs for pairing, checkout identity, stack rebase concurrency, destination permissions and credential isolation, mobile review grants, empty-file editing, local preferences, relay controls and Gitea reactions. Primary and independent GPT-6 Astra source GO and exact-head CI qualify the source candidate. CodeRabbit skipped the oversized diff; the maintainer-authorized independent review fallback was used.

Desktop installers are unsigned. Server/npm installations use @rtvision/t3 from https://npm-registry.rtvision.com/; desktop and standalone updates use this repository. No live service deployment or restart was performed.

RTVision T3 Code 0.0.72

Imports 128 upstream commits through b83d731cabbfd32c7479bb2db7e6afbfb2085ff2.

All new upstream features

Fixes and performance changes

  • Stop recovers stalled runs and cancels delegated tasks and PR watches. PR settlement also stops watches.
  • Subagents display their reported models, effort and speed. Delegation can resolve providers with the app closed.
  • PR watches use cheaper fingerprints, respect rate limits, wake on edited bot comments and newly passed checks, and keep watched threads in Working.
  • PR detail reads use fewer GitHub points. Status polling avoids index locks and starts fewer git processes. Old outbox rows and PR cache files are pruned.
  • Startup project sync no longer delays the app window. PATH scans, project favicons, workspace indexes, large Claude transcript scans and pending-secret scans do less work.
  • Initializers avoid races, cache/ID writes are atomic, DrainableWorker continues after failed items, and trace-disk failures cannot stall the server.
  • Web fixes cover IndexedDB recovery, sidebar drag-and-drop, inline HTML scrolling, image preparation, composer editing, queued-message notices and desktop credentials.
  • Mobile defers audio recorder creation and reduces shell-cache encoding. Shared forward-compatible schemas and trimmed ID decoding improve client/server compatibility.
  • OpenCode 2 receives MCP tools; MCP reports tool failures and command rejection reasons correctly. Tool-returned screenshots render as images.
  • Relay fixes cover tracing, CORS on failure/deadline responses, connector-aware tunnel release and bounded tunnel cleanup.
  • Desktop fixes cover screenshot IDs/filename collisions, auth bootstrap recovery and versioned JetBrains application discovery.
  • Effect moves to stable 4.0.1 with service files flattened into their domain folders. TypeScript tooling, Cursor SDK, Astro, Antigravity and dependency packaging receive updates. Nightly browser tests and CLI builds are repaired.

Upstream and fork decisions

  • Adopt upstream Effect 4 imports, service-module paths, namespace conventions and Crypto hashing. Preserve the fork's SSH runner selection, reconnect scopes and host-wide remote-server leases. Remote-state hashes retain the same address bytes so upgrades reuse existing remote state.
  • Adopt upstream's server-hosted browser and delete the superseded desktop automation helper imports. Keep the fork's annotation draft restoration across same-page reloads.
  • Adopt upstream's native goals, webhooks, private secret requests, inline HTML, worktree-location controls, tab reopening, PR-watch improvements and forward-compatible contracts.
  • Adopt upstream's TypeScript CodeRabbit configuration. Preserve every former review setting, including request-changes workflow and automatic review, and retain vendored-reference exclusion.
  • Keep RTVision Gitea/Forgejo APIs and attachments, host-aware PR permissions/cache refreshes, CI run controls, review mentions/whitespace/search/stack navigation and editor preferences.
  • Keep RTVision registry/update routing, Node/npm/OpenRC installations, Alpine node-pty handling, pinned-runtime validation/reinstall, V1 trial recovery and daemon discovery.
  • Keep RTVision Windows/Linux release packaging and GitHub-hosted CI. Move the newly added transfer-report job onto the fork's supported runner.

RTVision fixes

  • Recover Codex sessions after the shared app-server exits, including clean exit.
  • Publish ACP replay status atomically and persist the inbound cursor before responses.
  • Use Effect Crypto in the WSL SSH runner and preserve existing remote-state identity.

Changes

Review pane and comments (#78)

  • Refreshing the review pane keeps your scroll position, including on large diffs that load file by file. Files you have already loaded stay loaded and update in place.
  • Saved review comments in the review pane and the file preview can be edited. An edited comment keeps its place in the composer.
  • Pending comments in a pull request review can be edited before you submit the review. A comment rewritten while a review is being submitted stays pending for the next review instead of being discarded.

Resulting changes

Agents, providers, and orchestration

  • Agents can watch a pull request and wake when checks, reviews, or conflicts need attention. Watchers read paginated review replies.
  • T3 MCP tools accept explicit thread and project targets, and providers share MCP tool presentation.
  • Delegated review rounds stay on the task API. Subagents do not inherit their parent's pull-request links.
  • Restarts preserve delegated tasks, queued threads, stop requests, and settled state. Merged threads remain settled after provider wake events.
  • Working timers survive background wakes. Threads remain working while Claude starts a wake turn, and background notifications queue during active tools.
  • Stop interrupts Claude commands and ends lingering Codex commands or dev servers after settlement or provider switches.
  • Claude model changes preserve running background agents. Claude recovers from self-entered plan mode and from stuck background commands.
  • Claude discovers commands per workspace, handles scalar skill frontmatter, and reports skill names and subagent models correctly. Codex resumes archived native sessions and avoids API-key startup warnings and undefined auth-token fields. OpenCode reasoning labels have a fallback.
  • Earlier app agent transcript pages are restored. Next-turn steering retains the newest selection.
  • Shared keyed locks release idle entries. SQLite transactions wait for the write lock.

Connections, environments, and runtime

  • One environment can be reached over multiple routes, including discovered LAN and tailnet addresses.
  • Reconnects use jittered backoff while preserving healthy sockets. Closing a busy stream preserves the connection, and relay disconnects do not become thread errors.
  • T3 Connect fixes colliding prepared statements, and subagent threads stop sending relay tombstones.
  • New-thread keyboard controls can select the next machine. No-project drafts can switch machines, and clients share opening a machine's No project folder.
  • Slow editor discovery eventually updates the client. Outdated servers can be updated even when the client cannot connect.
  • Provider installs expose one-click updates. Manual update commands match the installed CLI and proven npm prefix.
  • CLI launch validation rejects accidental server starts. Saving symlinked settings preserves the link.
  • Linux device hubs recover their runtime directory. Media paths support home-relative paths.
  • Idle shells stop reloading every project once a minute. Background dev servers no longer falsely mark threads as waiting.

Pull requests and source control

  • Hold Shift for GitHub pull-request quick actions. Close batches by dragging across rows, cancel before release with Escape, and queue actions safely.
  • Concurrent GitHub routing metadata probes share active reads.
  • Linked pull requests open correctly. Issue links show a useful not-found state in the pull-request viewer.
  • Forgejo mergeability no longer implies a conflict without evidence. Commit-message generation preserves staged changes.
  • Azure DevOps uses its correct mark.

Web and desktop interface

  • Mermaid fenced blocks render as diagrams. Timeline shell commands and tool inputs receive syntax highlighting.
  • Tool calls show their call above a muted result. Expanded calls expose their output, and empty calls do not expand. Work logs lose nested indentation.
  • Command palette results are virtualized. DOM updates avoid restyling the whole page, and monospace fonts are validated when selected.
  • Sidebar buttons can be swept to settle, un-settle, or wake threads. Draft threads gain a context menu, and unsent drafts can open the thread picker.
  • Keyboard fixes restore background new-thread creation, support sending and opening a new thread, and clear stale chat action shortcuts.
  • Sending to older threads preserves scroll position. New worktree threads stop flickering. Unseen shell completion remains visible.
  • Working sections keep their order while agents finish or wake. Subagent cards show the provider account, match finish notifications, and show follow-ups as running.
  • Thread details show the remote machine. Thinking rows after failed tools expand their tool calls.
  • Composer and panel action icons morph between states. Model pickers size to their content, thread info panels lose the square shadow, and icons align correctly.
  • Sidebar branding, build pills, and breadcrumbs behave better at different font sizes, zoom levels, and collapse states. Secondary hovering pointers reveal sidebar actions. Unpin hover shows the pin-off icon.
  • Imported themes keep switches and focus rings visible. Thread status dots and legacy sidebar options have accessible labels.
  • Workspace panels stay below dialogs and dock beside chat on narrow windows. Draft composer spacing is reduced.
  • Timeline tooltips dismiss on scroll. Provider update details open from both icons, and device diagnostics appear before hub readiness.
  • Browser automation clicks preserve composer focus. Project actions open previews correctly, and preview mute and Woke dismissal synchronize.
  • Desktop dark-mode browser tabs render markdown visibly. The app prints its version before initialization and keeps titlebar controls inset when zoomed.
  • V2 desktop imports recover stashed prompts and drafts from the V1 profile.
  • Desktop preview inspector object retention is bounded, and renderer identity/history is recorded for diagnostics.
  • Failed workspace preparation can be retried.

Mobile

  • Back navigation from agents and finished subagents returns to their parent thread.
  • iOS threads keep scroll position, and the final line of markdown replies stays visible.
  • Subagent details are complete. Failed sends show their reason, and queued message removal is tappable.
  • Dictation survives navigation with an edge control; its timer keeps a stable width.
  • Full-screen simulator viewing exposes controls on demand.
  • The beta Working section hides busy threads until they need attention. Expired Live Activities do not leave duplicate cards.
  • Android usage widgets load correctly in release builds. Production OTAs cannot reach store binaries from the previous major version.
  • Uniwind is upgraded and its local patch removed.

Usage reporting

  • Cost is shown by token type, with speed and model details.
  • Codex Fast and Ultrafast pricing matches billing. Preview model IDs fold into their underlying model.
  • Model shares and ordering follow the selected metric.
  • Warm scans are faster on large histories.

Development, tests, CI, and release tooling

  • Documentation, development scripts, and CI are updated for orchestration V2.
  • Worktree setup preserves real environment files, and bootstrap warnings go directly to stderr.
  • Fake provider/process CLIs become fixture files, exit with their parent, and are cleaned up after tests. ACP tests wait for prompt settlement, and replay coverage checks reported subagent models.
  • Lint rejects tests declared inside loops and CSS :has() variants that restyle the whole page.
  • Nightly Discord announcements include release changelogs, and nightly clients point to the beta mobile app.
  • Triage exemptions are updated, redundant thread-sort tests are removed, and a duplicate Option import that broke upstream CI is fixed.
  • Dependency, patch, license, and mobile fingerprint configuration changes accompany the imported features.

Upstream changes later reverted

  • Automatic compaction before resume was introduced and then removed. It is absent from the final merge.
  • Automatic repair of unclosed local file links was introduced and then removed. It is absent from the final merge. Descriptive file-link label preservation remains.

Fork behavior preserved and merge adaptations

  • Preserve Gitea/Forgejo integrations, inline reviews, review mentions, review progress, whitespace filters, dependency navigation, CI runs/reruns, viewed-file handling, and scoped pull-request refreshes.
  • Preserve Vim navigation, its settings and shortcuts, diff search/highlighting, terminal editors including Neovim, saved editor choices, and remote editor dispatch.
  • Preserve SSH runtime reuse/recovery, cancellation and remote-server lease behavior, daemon diagnostics, pinned runtime validation/reinstallation, runtime pruning, and migration trial recovery.
  • Preserve low-disk warnings on web/desktop and mobile, along with RTVision package/registry configuration, versions, release workflows, and packaging.
  • Adopt upstream's shared merge-setting resolver and quick-action layout. Retain Gitea's checks access without requiring a host-provided rollup, review-request labels, and Gitea browser-link fallbacks.
  • Combine upstream pending slash-command discovery with the fork's atomic workspace-scan baseline/ownership capture and token-specific cleanup.
  • Carry the upstream pull-request head SHA into details while retaining dynamic fork capabilities and dependency metadata.
  • Fold disk-warning updates and recovery into upstream's late-editor snapshots, preventing an old warning from reappearing.
  • Recognize both t3 and @rtvision/t3 npm installations for ownership checks. Keep manual update commands pointed at RTVision's package and registry....

@github-actions github-actions released this 02 Oct 21:39

RTVision T3 Code 0.0.68

This release brings upstream's new orchestrator to RTVision, with saved message queues, richer thread context, and more ways to recover interrupted work.

  • Queued messages are saved on the server. Edit, reorder, or remove them above the composer, or steer a supported running turn. After a server restart, the queue stays held until you choose Resume.
  • Attach another thread as context by typing @ and its title, or dragging it from the sidebar. The agent retrieves that thread's history when needed. References stay within the same server.
  • Continue interrupted or limited turns with Resume. When a provider reports its reset time, use Resume at reset or enable Auto-resume limited threads in Settings → General. The server must be running to continue work; overdue continuations resume after a restart.
  • Follow delegated work in Agents. Subagent questions and approvals appear in the parent thread. Expand activity summaries to inspect commands, status, and tool inputs.
  • Add providers from the official ACP Registry in Settings → Providers, including Antigravity. OpenCode 2 is supported, and Cursor can sign in through the app while connected to a remote environment.

RTVision's Gitea reviews and CI tools, PR dependency navigation, diff search, Vim navigation, Neovim terminal editors, WSL/SSH connections, and low-disk warnings carry forward. Windows links and image paths stay intact, and Claude MCP activity shows tool names and icons. Failed background-server upgrades preserve the legacy database and stop an uncertain migration from being reused. Linux downloads include both AppImage and Debian packages.

Update your desktop app and every local or remote server together. Older clients and servers cannot connect across this protocol change. Settings → Connections identifies the machine that needs updating. See the update guide for remote and command-line installations.

Older threads appear automatically; large transcripts may load in stages. Their first new message starts a fresh provider session with selected conversation context. Old checkpoints, diffs, tool activity, approvals, and plans are not carried into the new timeline. The original history is preserved separately, but conversations written after migration do not sync between versions. The desktop app uses a separate browser profile, so embedded websites may require signing in again. Back up important server data and read the thread migration guide before continuing important older threads.

Desktop installers are unsigned. Node installations use @rtvision/t3 from https://npm-registry.rtvision.com/.

On Alpine/musl, manual npm installs need npm_config_build_from_source=true for node-pty. Managed service updates already set it. Linux npm installs retain an existing limitation in native resource telemetry because the bundled monitor lacks execution permission.

RTVision T3 Code 0.0.67

@github-actions github-actions released this 02 Oct 16:57

This release fixes Gitea pull request files failing to mark as viewed after a branch update (#77). On supported Gitea hosts, open pull requests now compare the current base with Gitea's mirrored PR head, keeping the displayed files consistent with the viewed-file API. Expanded diff context uses contents that match the displayed patch.

Changes since 0.0.66:

  • Create a new project by entering a name in the command palette. T3 creates its folder and Git repository and opens a thread.
  • Restart an agent session from the command palette to load new skills and plugins.
  • Update outdated providers across connected environments with Settings → Providers → Update all.
  • Enable Working section (beta) in General settings to fold busy threads until they finish or need input.
  • Composer undo now separates typing, deleting, and clipboard edits. PR check labels fit narrow headers.
  • Desktop browser markdown pages remain readable in dark mode, and agent-triggered downloads no longer open Save dialogs.
  • Provider refreshes keep newer results authoritative. Broken cached runtimes are reinstalled safely, and GitHub background polling batches requests.

Downloads include Windows x64 and Linux x64 desktop installers, standalone CLI archives, and the Node-based @rtvision/t3@0.0.67 package. Desktop installers are unsigned. Desktop and standalone updates use this GitHub release; Node/npm and Alpine/OpenRC installations use https://npm-registry.rtvision.com/.

On musl hosts, manual npm installation requires npm_config_build_from_source=true. T3 service installation and updates build node-pty from source automatically.

RTVision T3 Code 0.0.66

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 01 Oct 03:15

This release lets you start threads without a project, adds support for Codex 0.159 and Codex Pro Max accounts, and fixes Claude /compact leaving a thread busy. It brings in 25 upstream T3 Code changes. RTVision's Gitea, GitLab, pull request, editor, Vim, low disk space, and Codex workspace usage features are unchanged.

New

  • Start a thread without a project. Press mod+alt+n or use the command palette. The thread gets its own folder under a Scratch project, so you can ask a quick question or try something without picking a repository. Mobile's new-task flow supports it too.
  • Codex 0.159 and Pro Max. Codex Pro Max accounts now load, so Ultrafast appears for them, shown with a double-bolt icon.
  • OpenCode Go usage limits from machines that share one API key now show as one account instead of duplicates.

Fixes

  • Claude: /compact no longer ends early and leaves the thread busy.
  • Grok recovers from crashed sessions, and Grok CLIs older than 1.0.13 are marked broken.
  • Composer suggestions work with screen readers.
  • Dark+ and Light+ theme imports no longer collide with the built-in themes.
  • Badges on threads with several pull requests open the linked pull requests panel.
  • Workspace root links open in the file explorer.
  • User-input timeline rows show the agent's question.
  • Model ids in inline code no longer turn into file chips.
  • Diff file names are no longer clipped, and command menu descriptions use the full row width.
  • Disconnected environments are hidden when adding a project.

Downloads and updates

Attached: Windows x64 and Linux x64 desktop installers, standalone CLI archives, and the Node-based @rtvision/t3@0.0.66 package. Node/npm installations, including Alpine/OpenRC hosts, use https://npm-registry.rtvision.com/. Desktop installers are unsigned. Desktop and standalone updates use this GitHub release.

On Alpine and other musl hosts, t3 service install, t3 update, and self-update build node-pty from source automatically. For a manual npm install -g @rtvision/t3, set npm_config_build_from_source=true; otherwise opening a terminal crashes.
