Open Tree of Life, Arbor, and Phylotastic hackathon 2014

Logistics | Schedule | Participants | Project seeds | Remote participation | Hotel list

The Tree-for-all hackathon starts on Monday, September 15, at 9am in the Great Lakes Room on the 4th floor of Palmer Commons building at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI.

Our first day will include welcome and introductions, brief talks about tools and goals for the hackathon, and project pitches. Then for the rest of the week participants will work collaboratively toward project goals. Projects are entirely designed by participants and the format and goals of the hackathon are flexible and open-ended. Come prepared to have fun, learn new things, and work with great people to make some great stuff!

If you are a participant, please make sure to add your affiliation and links to the Participants page!

If you are a UM student/faculty/postdoc/etc. interested in Tree-for-all, please make sure you are present on Monday at 9am in the Great Lakes Room of Palmer Commons so you can meet participants and get a feel for hackathon structure and expectations.
