What: Preserve current-main Promachos request answering through #379's verified cross-environment authority and repair the inherited server/client CI consumers.
Why: The aligned base retained the answerer helper but used ancestor-only admission; baseline fixtures and existing client tests depended on removed APIs, incidental shapes or startup replay being mistaken for a live recovery batch.
So what: Fresh Sol and Opus5.5 MEDIUM reviews approve the exact candidate; the parent awaits complete current CI before internal integration, cascade and final cumulative acceptance.

Refs #379 and #532. This component targets feat/379-cross-machine-parity and does not close the parent. Approved v5 compatibility decision; current complete handoff.

PendingRequestService owns actual-target resource/mode checks and shared answerer policy for read/respond/dismiss. Verified native/qualified ancestry retains precedence; the existing actual top-level Promachos role otherwise follows main533's ancestor-first rule. Responses persist answeredBy, approval discovery uses the same helper, legacy trusted full-access/default scope remains bounded, and modern grants still apply at the actual destination. Forwarding retains the native caller used to derive the source role. No arbitrary agent/header/client claim becomes authority.

The registered two-environment proof uses real production kernels, SQLite, authenticated MCP and peer authority. It covers actual source role, narrow resource refusal, current source mode denial, one concurrent winner, persisted attribution and remote-child parent ownership. Retained #369 tests preserve qualified identity, content/revision atomicity, original/current checks, ordinary approvals, empty choices, replay and human-route isolation.

Baseline reuse is limited to existing owner repairs: published PR534 b9b4596700221922146026665b69d2eafc2dde9f supplied native resolver/runtime context, Spectrum registry, fixture schedule-purpose/returned-worktree and complete RPC inference hunks. The user's finite stopped383 transfer adds necessary baseline hunks from d892050cb97854e08ca1ca427fc762caebbd69f7: two formatter repairs, native RunGroups/Spectrum assertions, removed mobile UI/renderer consumers and supported PeerGrantSettings async cleanup. Exactly two additional existing web tests migrate to DOM/browser APIs; actual Chromium fixture adaptations retain observable assertions and use the real button owner. Their additional grant changes no web production source. No #383 feature was imported. Fork inventory retains one owner and registers the renamed test; the map cites539.

The finite recovery absorption decision adds only PR537's existing RecoveryReactor.test.ts blob from preserved fcd3162f740ea5e766fe461d75e0d5d932f84310, originally authored in cdd478059c47896aab0eda5ce5422a92496f6eff, and the existing Prism map part's PR539 reference. The test awaits a native EventSink marker's recovery callback before measuring the original four-event batch; the duplicate-recipient assertion and production coalescer remain unchanged. PR537 is draft/preserved, not merged, pending the parent's absorption closure after539lands.

Requirements and who asked: User requires approved #379/#532 compatibility, meaningful native/client proof and inherited CI repair, including only the finite existing383 and537 transfers. Final approval PR and topology remain parent-owned.
Deleted: Wholesale overrides, duplicate handler/recovery logic, removed renderer dependency, incidental assertions, sleeps/timeouts, weakened duplicate checks, production coalescer edits, compiler/gate suppressions, unrelated features, version bumps and topology mutations.
Bottleneck: The owned recovery fixture belongs in the lower baseline repair to remove a lower-CI/upper-fix gate cycle. Fresh exact-head Sol+Opus MEDIUM reviews have passed; complete current CI remains the parent's frontier.
Checked myself: Actual main533/source contracts, observed CI/compiler diagnostics, source checkpoint diffs, original recovery red/high-water/faithful mutation/restored evidence, byte equivalence, fresh three-case recovery and scoped checks. Full commands, hashes, failed attempts and limits are in the current handoff.

Current candidate 472e960572ccd6c842869962acd294797e1feff3, tree 79e196e151cc3f07a78a5835beaa22ea29eba314, unchanged integration base 63c41e7b0ab32460dae0287b448a87c3ac9e8e51. Immediate parent 2b9443bae55bb712b6872c0ab75f92976fa2e870; ordinary forward commit and verified push, clean workspace. This delta changes exactly the recovery test and map.

Fresh delta validation, task-local Node24.13.1/pnpm11.10.0:

  • vp test run apps/server/src/prism/RecoveryReactor.test.ts: 3passed, exit0,26.26s.
  • Changed test lint: exit0; test/map formatting: 2files pass; whitespace: exit0.
  • Inventory and committed fork check: exit0,52features.
  • Test blob exactly 2e2d14ca443d644d64a931cd96ad7d181f79d3d0. Recovery production/direct dependencies and lockfile match preserved537. Of358relative-import files, only previously reviewed PeerAuthority differs after transfer, so original mutation proof remains historical; the current3-case run is fresh. No production mutation was performed.

Actual2bCI Server7 job118146648689/run39277877062 completedFAILURE17:32Warsaw with only this known fixture: 1failed/1199passed/2skipped. The stale GraphQL in-progress rollup did not override Actions/log evidence. The original faithful removal of new Set made the same duplicate assertion fail; the earlier attempted mutation that restored source before module loading is invalid and not counted. Raw original and current logs are retained and hashed in the handoff.

Earlier unchanged-source2bproof remains historical:85server/11native/3mobile/23DOM/23compiledChromium, PeerGrantSettings compiler case, actual server/mobile/web package compilers, scoped lint/format/export/fork checks. Earlier116b's full116-case workflow and other selections also retain their original identities. These checks were not rerun or relabeled a current complete merge gate in this two-path continuation.

Whole2b Sol APPROVE and fresh Opus R3 APPROVE are historical and carry no supported code finding. The Opus R2 guidance omission and its full R3 correction remain in the next review packet. No historical approval transfers to472e. Fresh whole-component Sol APPROVE and Opus5.5 APPROVE independently cover472e. The parent aggregate records fresh/reused/unverified proof and review/independent success on472e. Current Actions run39282401928 still reports all jobs queued with no steps at readiness inspection; cause unknown. Complete CI, internal merge and cumulative acceptance remain separate, unmet gates. No further Grok delay or self-approval.

Website/SEO impact: none, existing compatibility, test synchronization and internal metadata only. No version bump under project policy. No product/dev server, browser/device, live data, grants, deploy/install/restart, rebase/retarget or merge. Other component workspaces remain untouched. Real integrated acceptance and the final approval PR remain parent-owned. Source and Git writing are STOPPED clean on the candidate above.

Implemented with GPT-6.1 Sol, MEDIUM reasoning, through the Codex harness. Existing-source attribution is recorded above and in the complete handoff.

What: PR539's local native116-case proof is green, but current CI still fails on inherited formatting, two stale test consumers and16mobile type errors already repaired in the preserved383 checkpoint.
Why: The lower compatibility component currently contains native server/authority repairs while those baseline-only frontend/consumer repairs remain in the upper383 component, preventing a green lower gate.
So what: Keep current539 frozen for BOTH running reviews, then transfer only the necessary existing baseline repairs into its next candidate alongside any accepted findings; cascade the stopped383 component afterwards. No failing check is waived.

Requirements and who asked: User requires inherited CI repair, each current reviewed component before merge and one final approval PR.
Deleted: Merging lower539 with failed checks, duplicating an existing repaired feature, wholesale383 feature import, blind reruns and transferring current reviews to a changed head.
Bottleneck: The lower-component CI depends on baseline fixes currently carried by the upper component. Moving those existing fixes to their necessary lower owner removes that gate cycle without changing outcome.
Checked myself: Read completed CI job logs for539head116b24d: lint118128809116 reports exactlypullRequests/handlers.ts andpeer/RemoteDelegation.ts format; server2job118128808476 has1Spectrum settings literal-ID failure/1120passes; server4job118128808988 has1RunGroups optional-field-key assertion/1048passes; build118128900044 reports16mobile errors in RemotePendingRequest.test.tsx/RemotePendingRequest.tsx/RemoteTaskViewer.tsx. Those same baseline classes have explicit383 grants and exact d892/sourcebound proof. Raw completed logs retained /tmp/chromeria-539-{lint,server2,server4,build}-ci.log. Initial gh log output refused terminal escapes; corrected by downloading raw output to local files and stripping escapes for inspection. No job rerun/source change occurred.

Both current reviews remain exact116b24d/base63c41 and must distinguish these baseline gate failures from supported code findings. Main advanced to e5936c2 through530 Mac login mirror; final integration must include it, but539 target remains frozen63c41 and no final-current-main claim exists.

Parent also prepared local-only383 alignment: stopped d892's EXACT3authoredcommits over7c70 rebased onto539116b24d in exclusive/home/luke/dev/toolboxmd/chromeria-worktrees/379-383-alignment, branchalign/379-383-current, localHEAD913df7d4920081d05ea56a4e49443b308cec7fc4/tree4a5bd98ec9027b7e47341779c43125e5b5da24e8. Preserved the full added pending532 test with new383 cases, hoisted native worktree decoder, complete RPC exports/definitions/middleware and canonical/shared metadata owners. RemotePR534 and originalRockyworktree are untouched; originald892 remains preserved. This is preparation only, not newbase validation or permission to reuse old proof. Affected newbase checks are underway, and subsequent539changes require another cascade before review/publication.

What: APPROVE PR #539 at 116b24dd37a77d31e8e577846d3654ba802d0c55; this independent whole-component review found no supported blocking defect.
Why: The shared pending-request service composes the restored Promachos answerer with verified ancestry, actual-target authority and native response admission, and the inspected fixture/compiler repairs preserve their existing contracts.
So what: The parent aggregates this verdict with the other required independent review and owns component acceptance, current CI, integration and the final approval PR; this comment sets no aggregate status or delivery approval.

Identity and independence

  • Codex harness, provider instance codex, returned model gpt-6.1-sol, persisted option reasoningEffort=medium, verified through this review thread's t3_thread_configuration. No model, harness or effort fallback and no subdelegation. I did not author this component.
  • Exact base: 63c41e7b0ab32460dae0287b448a87c3ac9e8e51. Exact HEAD: 116b24dd37a77d31e8e577846d3654ba802d0c55. Tree: 2bc0806c3086c442dd54108a75024b1ba9d320d2. Detached exclusive review workspace: /home/luke/dev/toolboxmd/chromeria-worktrees/379-review-539-sol.
  • Read the complete 12-file base-to-HEAD diff, 395 insertions and 61 deletions, including tests and both metadata files, and relevant inherited callers, native admission and authority owners. Live PR recheck confirms OPEN, exact head/base above and target feat/379-cross-machine-parity. Git status remained clean and HEAD/tree unchanged.
  • Current main's advancement to e5936c25383afe05638b8e6390f5363513a3f7b3 through feat(preview): mirror Mac Chrome logins to connected environments #530 is outside this candidate. This is no current-main synthesis or final readiness verdict. Historical spec: native cross-machine control across linked environments #379 shipment authority does not authorize any reviewer operation here.
  • PR fix(peer): preserve current-main request answering policy #539 is app-linked and not watched. No review/independent status was written.

Elon record

Requirements and who asked: The current user/parent requested a whole independent component review preserving #379 v5, #369 native request guarantees and merged #533 Promachos answering, with bounded inherited proof repairs.
Deleted: Approval transfer, split/lens-only review, speculative new architecture, importing separately owned #531/#383 features, source repair, broad local gates and product/live-system actions.
Bottleneck: Verify the actual-target authorization and native acceptance boundary after composing the two existing policies, then return the exact-candidate verdict to the parent.
Checked myself: Exact persisted Color and Git/live PR identities, all 12 diff paths and affected owners, manifest file/log hashes, original failure signatures, fresh native/request/runtime/WebSocket checks and server compiler, final clean state.

Findings

APPROVE. No required correction or optional rewrite is requested.

Pending-request policy and transport composition

  • pendingRequests.ts:21-43, 54-140: verified local/transitive qualified ancestry is evaluated before the Promachos alternative. The inherited isPromachosThread requires the stored role and no parent. The active-ancestor walk continues above deleted parents, retains the exact 30-minute boundary and keeps remote delegated children with their actual parent. The existing role owners still prevent agent launch, child inheritance and fork elevation; client dispatch still removes prismRole/answeredBy claims.
  • PeerForwarding.ts:152-188, 578-588 derives the forwarded claim from the actual loaded source thread. The receiving HTTP helper honors that header only for an authenticated linked client. linkedPromachos additionally intersects the client limit with frozen authority/legacy limits and requires full-access/default. This remains the stated cooperative user-controlled-server trust model, not a claim of an OS sandbox or protection from a fully compromised server.
  • PendingRequestService.ts:182-299: the direct qualified-target relaxation does not bypass request ownership. Subtree/route traversal still proves the selected task relationship, and the resolved actual target goes through checkThread, checkTarget, mode comparison and answerer admission. A modern full runtime mode does not supply environment-resource permission. Every current target contributor remains checked by the existing authority owner. The standalone legacy path retains its actual contract rather than fabricating a modern authority record.
  • handlers.ts:247-260 still uses writesThreads, so replacing its preliminary target list with [] retains live-caller/read-only admission, routing and the DispatchModeLimit provided to native dispatch. The service now checks the actual target instead of repeating the route root's transport fence. The orchestrator still checks the addressed target's current modes under its lock. No blanket McpToolAccess bypass was introduced.
  • PeerAuthority.ts:1251-1267: absent actor evidence returns no ancestor. That is not an authenticated human or an allowed response. The service rejects an undefined/own answerer, including missing-local-caller questions, while authenticated source-client actions still use the separate session-validated PendingClientSession/fromTask path. Ordinary ancestral runtime approvals remain supported.
  • Only actual Promachos responses add answeredBy; native request and timeline persistence remain in the existing orchestrator, and retained web/desktop-shared and mobile label consumers are unchanged by this component. The new native test observes persisted request/item attribution and one answer message after concurrent rivals.

Retained #369 guarantees

The native content and revision read remains one same-client SQL transaction through the real ProjectionStore, with initial management/legacy preparation and network authorization outside that transaction. SQL without the required store fails rather than returning an invented modern revision. The existing planning and commit guard still enforce status, revision and content/option shape atomically with events, receipt and outbox. The explicit offered empty value remains distinct from an absent required answer. Qualified exact-target, selected-task, human-session, replay, concurrent answer/dismiss, native intake-before-commit and Stop controls are retained. All ten existing pending369 cases passed freshly here, including S1 and S2.

Fixture, WebSocket and metadata changes

  • Read the published b9b source and stopped d892 handoff. The candidate takes bounded resolver/common-runtime-context, Spectrum registry, explicit fixture purpose and native returned-worktree-path repairs; it does not import the remaining feat(peer): view and drive remote browsers and devices from a source-only client #383 viewer/browser/device feature. Explicit unscoped fixture intent satisfies the current schedule owner instead of weakening purpose admission. Worktree assertions follow the actual native binding, including accepted replay and lost reply.
  • Compared the RPC split with published b9b: its split block is equivalent after removing b9b's export modifiers. The complete current WsRpc group still supplies the same RPC descriptors. Core and orchestration are complementary filters of the non-fork group, fork handlers retain their existing group, and every existing handler remains selected from the unchanged complete handler object. Installed Effect 4.0.5 stores middleware on each RPC object; RpcGroup.make over those objects retains authorization and instrumentation, and group annotations are copied. RpcServer.make still serves the original complete group with the same authorization/instrumentation layers. No handler or guard omission was found.
  • Both metadata diffs were reviewed. Duplicate paths move to sharedFiles with their original canonical owners retained; the map records compatibility references. The inventory validator passes with 52 features and no gate change.

Fresh checks executed by this reviewer

All tests/compiler commands used task-local Node 24.13.1 / pnpm 11.10.0 through:

npm exec --yes --package=node@24.13.1 --package=pnpm@11.10.0 -- pnpm exec

  1. vp test run apps/server/src/childThreads/pendingRequests.test.ts apps/server/src/peer/PeerForwarding.promachos.test.ts: 33 passed, 2 files, 9.88s, exit 0. /tmp/379-539-r1-sol-focused.log.
  2. vp test run apps/server/src/peer/PeerAuthority.workflow.test.ts -t 'pending369|pending532|first say|parent is|keeps its fence': 11 passed, 105 skipped, 47.31s, exit 0. /tmp/379-539-r1-sol-workflow.log. The matched cases are all ten retained feat(peer): surface and answer remote descendant requests from the parent #369 cases and the new feat: let the Promachos answer a stuck thread's pending question when no parent can #532 case. These use isolated native SQLite and authenticated fixture transports, not live product resources.
  3. vp test run apps/server/src/ws.test.ts apps/server/src/orchestration-v2/runtimeLayer.test.ts apps/server/src/promachos/PromachosClientCommands.test.ts: 97 passed, 3 files, 14.47s, exit 0. /tmp/379-539-r1-sol-ws-runtime.log.
  4. vp run --filter t3 typecheck: exit 0, Effect suggestions present, no compiler errors. /tmp/379-539-r1-sol-types.log.
  5. node scripts/fork-features.mjs check: exit 0, 52 features. /tmp/379-539-r1-sol-inventory.log. git diff --check 63c41e7b0ab32460dae0287b448a87c3ac9e8e51 HEAD: exit 0.

That is 141 passing tests across six files, scoped feedback. No repository-wide check or full 116-case rerun was performed. No new disposable source probe was necessary or left behind.

Author evidence checked separately

Verified every one of the 12 source/metadata hashes and every retained log hash in /tmp/compat379-candidate.json against actual files. Its manifest identity matches this HEAD/tree/base. Inspected actual retained outputs and original failure signatures: policy red 7 failed/19 passed; broader fixture red 25 failed/91 passed, including required schedule-purpose errors, obsolete worktree path and missing Spectrum adapter implementation. Those failures are real historical reds, not waived passes. The author records its invalid test command and incorrect peer-label attempts separately; neither is policy-red evidence.

The matching final logs report full native 116 passed/374.26s, focused 159, consumers 255, discovery 28, fixture repair 14, scoped lint/format, server export Knip and committed fork gate. These remain author executions. The 159 selection predates the later approval-list assertion; the final 28 and 116 cover the respective final source. The parent's earlier compiler total also included its restored omitted helper; I do not attribute all those errors to inherited baseline. No older approvals or CI runs were transferred.

Records, ownership and limits

Applied canonical operations verification/code review/review-method/impact-analysis and diagnosis guidance, repository instructions/triad/glossary and Great Library guidance. Review inputs include the complete #539 body and author handoff 3796270138641; approved v5 parent body/Design Review; compatibility decision 3796269063649, narrowed authority 3796269504815 and driver map 3796269777203; full Issue #532 and comments and merged #533 diff/tests/body; #369 repair/aggregate/appendix/client packet 6248420108/6248544656/6249019046/6249106298; both whole #531 findings and disposition 6269155719/6269257839/6269292475; and the stopped #383/parent transfer records 6269799768/6269852888 and supplied caches. The #369 appendix's prior packet is exactly identical to the canonical 345-line packet after its six-line historical wrapper, checked directly.

The accepted #531 premature content-less receipt and root turn-item query findings remain separately owned. Their implementation is not imported here; this component's fixture repair does not prove their resolution or replace their required fresh notice proofs. The d892 mobile/React Compiler and other remaining #383 repairs likewise remain separate. No old design blocker is reopened by this review.

Current CI and aggregate review acceptance were not established by these local checks. Full application/Ws.layer bootstrap, actual web/desktop/mobile interaction/media, physical machines, real provider prompts/callbacks, OS crash/restart, migration/rollback and final combined #379 acceptance remain unverified here and parent-owned. Old discovery/404/timing and cost UNKNOWNs are not explained by these passes. The newer main/browser synthesis remains parent-owned.

No source/index mutation, commit/push, checkout/rebase/merge/topology operation, other-worktree write, product/dev server, browser/device, provider prompt, live data, grant or running Chromeria operation occurred. Only isolated fixture HTTP/SQLite tests and task-local evidence files were used. All finite reviewer commands completed; source remains clean at the reviewed identity.

What: Sol approved exact PR #539 head 116b24dd37a77d31e8e577846d3654ba802d0c55; the required Grok review failed before a verdict.
Why: Grok returned API error (status 402 Payment Required): Grok Build usage balance exhausted, while Sol independently passed 141 focused tests and the server compiler without a supported blocker.
So what: Aggregate review is ERROR, not approval. The parent requested a human decision on substituting Claude Opus 5.5 MEDIUM for Grok and continues necessary CI baseline repairs; no component merge occurs without the required current-candidate review and CI.

Requirements and who asked: The user requires independent review from another model family; the recorded parent review policy additionally names Sol MEDIUM and Grok MEDIUM.
Deleted: Waiving review, treating a provider failure as a verdict, retrying exhausted billing blindly, spending money or changing credentials, and silently substituting a named model.
Bottleneck: Required cross-family reviewer capacity and the already recorded lower-component CI baseline failures.
Checked myself: Read both native task_status terminal results, verified no pending child runs, read Sol's complete report at #539 (comment) and inspected the live provider catalog, which advertises Claude Opus 5.5 with medium effort. The Grok error is a concrete failed execution, not a claim that alternative execution is impossible.

Sol task: node:delegated-task:command%3Amcp%3A73807b0f-4770-45ca-b18e-b97e9858d3bc%3Adelegate-task%3A379-539-r1-sol-medium-116b24d, completed, no pending child runs. Grok task: node:delegated-task:command%3Amcp%3A73807b0f-4770-45ca-b18e-b97e9858d3bc%3Adelegate-task%3A379-539-r1-grok-medium-116b24d, failed, no pending child runs. Neither result transfers to a changed candidate.

The existing CI-frontier decision remains: transfer only necessary baseline repairs from the stopped, preserved #383 checkpoint into lower #539, then revalidate and obtain fresh required exact-candidate reviews. The parent retains topology ownership. Local #383 alignment 913df7d4920081d05ea56a4e49443b308cec7fc4 passed five selected native cases with 150 skipped; this is scoped feedback, not full acceptance. No product server, live-data mutation or main merge occurred.

What: The existing #539 compatibility owner may include the two preserved web test-consumer migrations and their metadata in the current baseline repair.
Why: Server and mobile compilers now pass in the worker's intermediate source, while the web compiler reports 19 inherited errors from removed renderer APIs in these existing consumers.
So what: The same owner ports the already preserved repairs, runs current compiler and focused observable-behavior tests, then publishes a new exact candidate for fresh required review and CI. Intermediate compiler results are not final-candidate proof.

Requirements and who asked: The user requires inherited typecheck and CI repair; the compatibility owner requested a finite extension after executing the actual web compiler.
Deleted: Restoring react-test-renderer, suppressing diagnostics, new web production features, changing the tests to static markup or callback wiring, and a competing writer.
Bottleneck: Existing apps/web/src/components/chat/RemotePendingRequest.test.tsx and apps/web/src/components/chat/V2LifecycleRow.remote.browser.test.tsx consumers still use removed renderer APIs; the stopped #383 d892 checkpoint already contains the required native DOM migrations.
Checked myself: Read and answered the native child request, confirmed the existing preserved-checkpoint/sole-writer transfer and prior complete #383 handoff. The worker must retain its exact compiler output and execute current affected proofs; the parent does not claim to have independently rerun this intermediate compiler.

Finite ownership extension: migrate the existing RemotePendingRequest test to its preserved .browser.test.tsx form, repair the existing V2LifecycleRow remote browser test, and update canonical path metadata as necessary. Preserve source-only request and lifecycle/navigation behavior. No additional web production changes are granted by this extension. Existing authorization for the specific PeerGrantSettings compiler baseline repair remains separate and unchanged.

Native request was answered with “Include the two existing test migrations (Recommended)”; response sequence 2155555. Same compatibility task ordinal 2 remains the only writer. Parent still owns topology, independent reviews and cumulative acceptance. No main merge, deployment, live data or running Chromeria action.

Reuse baseline-only repairs from the preserved #383 checkpoint d892050cb97854e08ca1ca427fc762caebbd69f7 under the #379 ownership transfer. Adapt the two web test fixtures for actual Chromium collection without changing production web behavior.

What: Grok's full round2 review failed before a verdict; the authorized Opus5.5 MEDIUM whole-component review is starting on the same frozen candidate.
Why: The short native Grok availability retry returned AVAILABLE, but the actual complete review again returned API error (status 402 Payment Required): Grok Build usage balance exhausted.
So what: Keep candidate 2b9443bae55bb712b6872c0ab75f92976fa2e870 frozen for Sol plus Opus review, with current CI required. No further Grok retry delays this candidate and no failed execution is counted as approval.

Requirements and who asked: The user explicitly authorizes one Grok retry then Opus5.5MEDIUM fallback; retain independent exact-candidate review before component merge.
Deleted: Indefinite provider retries, waiting for another policy answer, review waiver, treating an availability reply as review reliability, or attributing this error to a verified account balance.
Bottleneck: Current complete Sol and Opus reviews plus CI, followed by integration and upper-component synthesis.
Checked myself: Native Grok R2 task 379-539-r2-grok-medium-2b9443b terminalFAILED/no pending child runs/402, clean frozen review workspace, exactlive539head/base. Full original brief and all prior reports/responses were supplied to fresh fallback task 379-539-r2-opus55-medium-2b9443b, explicitclaudeAgent/claude-opus-5-5/effortmedium. Sol R2 uses explicitcodex/gpt-6.1-sol/reasoningEffortmedium; persisted Sol/Grok selections were independently inspected. No source or policy gate weakened.

What: APPROVE PR #539 at 2b9443bae55bb712b6872c0ab75f92976fa2e870; this fresh independent whole-component review found no supported blocking defect.
Why: The native answerer/authority composition preserves the required admission boundaries, and the bounded inherited server/mobile/web repairs retain meaningful behavior while passing focused checks and all three package compilers.
So what: The parent aggregates the required independent verdicts and owns current CI, integration, the upper #383 cascade and final acceptance; this comment sets no aggregate status or merge/shipment approval.

Exact identity and independence

  • Base and merge-base: 63c41e7b0ab32460dae0287b448a87c3ac9e8e51.
  • HEAD: 2b9443bae55bb712b6872c0ab75f92976fa2e870.
  • Tree: 7701851d176a136cbe52b3b526fe8031297fe352.
  • Detached exclusive review workspace: /home/luke/dev/toolboxmd/chromeria-worktrees/379-review-539-sol.
  • Actual persisted selection verified using t3_thread_configuration: provider instance codex, model gpt-6.1-sol, option reasoningEffort=medium. Codex harness. No fallback or subdelegation. I did not author the component.
  • Reviewed the cumulative 22-file, 593-insertion/336-deletion base-to-HEAD diff, including the original policy composition and all new baseline repairs. This is not a review of only the delta from116b.
  • Live PR recheck confirms OPEN, exact head/base above, target feat/379-cross-machine-parity. Final source/index status is clean; HEAD/tree unchanged. PR539 is app-linked, watching=false. No review/independent status was written.
  • Earlier Sol approval6270356613 covers116b only and was read as historical input. Grok R1's402 and the later AVAILABLE retry are not code verdicts. No approval transfers.

Elon record

Requirements and who asked: The current user/parent requires a fresh whole PR539 review preserving #379 v5, #369 native request guarantees and merged #533 Promachos answering, plus only the explicitly transferred existing CI consumer repairs.
Deleted: Historical approval transfer, fix-only/lens review, source repairs, new architecture or permission policy, separately owned #531/#383 features, broad local gates and product/live-system operations.
Bottleneck: Verify the actual-target authority/native acceptance boundary and whether the migrated consumers still observe the required behavior, then return this exact-candidate verdict to the parent.
Checked myself: Persisted Color, Git/live PR identity, every cumulative diff path and affected owners, source/log manifest hashes, checkpoint equivalence, formatter preservation, retained failure signatures, fresh native/client/compiled Chromium checks, all three package compilers and final clean source.

Findings and whole-component coverage

APPROVE. No required correction or optional rewrite is requested.

Request policy, actual destination and response admission

Inspected apps/server/src/childThreads/PendingRequestService.ts, pendingRequests.ts, pendingRequests.test.ts, apps/server/src/mcp/toolkits/thread/handlers.ts, apps/server/src/peer/PeerAuthority.ts, PeerForwarding.ts, PeerForwarding.promachos.test.ts, PeerAuthority.workflow.test.ts and apps/server/src/orchestration-v2/runtimeLayer.test.ts, together with inherited native admission, HTTP ingress, invocation, role and client-command owners.

  • Verified native/transitive qualified ancestry remains first. Only the stored top-level Promachos role enables the alternative; inherited agent-launch, child-role and fork-role protections remain. An active grandparent above a deleted parent still has first say. The exact30-minute boundary is retained. A remotely delegated child remains with its actual parent.
  • The forwarding claim comes from the actual loaded source thread. HTTP ingress honors it only for a linked authenticated client, and the receiver intersects full-access/default with frozen authority or legacy ceilings. It does not grant environment-resource access from runtime mode. This follows the cooperative user-controlled-server trust model; it is not protection against a compromised peer server or OS user.
  • The direct qualified-target relaxation still proves selected task/subtree membership where a route traverses descendants. Request content and mutations check the actual target through checkThread and checkTarget, including current contributors, followed by effective mode and answerer admission. Modern and legacy authority paths retain their respective actual contracts. No blanket descendant environment-operation ban is introduced.
  • writesThreads(() => []) retains live-caller/read-only admission, routing and DispatchModeLimit; it moves the resource check to the service's actual destination. Native dispatch rechecks that destination's current mode under its lock. No broad McpToolAccess bypass was introduced.
  • Missing actor evidence returns no ancestor privilege. Undefined/own answerers are refused by the service, including missing-local-caller questions. The authenticated source-client session route remains separately validated. Self/unrelated/outside OAuth denials and ordinary eligible ancestral approvals remain supported.
  • Only actual Promachos responses add answeredBy. Native request and timeline persistence are observed by the current tests. Client command claims remain stripped by the inherited owner.
  • feat(peer): surface and answer remote descendant requests from the parent #369 S1 remains one same-client native SQL snapshot for content and revision, with initial legacy preparation and reverse/network authority outside that transaction. Missing native projection ownership fails. S2 still distinguishes a selected advertised empty value from an absent answer. Native serialized revision/status/content/option/Stop guards, receipt replay, intake-before-commit and exactly-one concurrent acceptance remain intact. All ten retained pending369 cases and the new pending532 case passed freshly.

Baseline server fixtures, RPC inference and formatter-only paths

Inspected apps/server/src/mcp/RunGroups.integration.test.ts, apps/server/src/spectrum/settings.integration.test.ts, the complete workflow fixture delta and apps/server/src/ws.ts.

  • Run1 decodes the actual single-task result and verifies provider/model/child identity and absence of group/remote/terminal observations. It no longer treats optional schema fields as mandatory keys. Spectrum assertions use each public returned threadId, preserve same-key result/state after configuration changes, and compare actual persisted SQL rows before/after invalid calls, avoiding a vacuous fabricated-ID check.
  • Resolver/common runtime context, Spectrum adapter registration, explicit fixture purpose and returned native worktree binding remain bounded reused repairs. No production policy is weakened to satisfy fixtures.
  • The WebSocket split partitions all non-fork RPC descriptors into complementary orchestration/core sets, retains the original complete handler object and existing fork group, and copies annotations. Installed Effect4.0.5 applies middleware to each RPC object; rebuilding groups from those objects retains it. The serving RpcServer still uses the complete original group and authorization/instrumentation layers. No removed/moved handler or missing guard was found.
  • Read both complete diffs for apps/server/src/mcp/toolkits/pullRequests/handlers.ts and apps/server/src/peer/RemoteDelegation.ts. Independently verified every non-whitespace byte is identical to116b. Changes are outside strings/comments and preserve runtime tokens, receipts and purpose behavior. No fix(orchestration): wake parents for remote pending requests #531 notice repair is imported or claimed.

Mobile/web consumers and save semantics

Inspected all three mobile paths: apps/mobile/src/features/threads/RemotePendingRequest.test.tsx, RemotePendingRequest.tsx, RemoteTaskViewer.tsx; all three web paths: apps/web/src/components/chat/RemotePendingRequest.browser.test.tsx, V2LifecycleRow.remote.browser.test.tsx, apps/web/src/components/settings/PeerGrantSettings.tsx; and their actual UI/command owners.

  • Mobile imports use the existing ui/AppText and ui/Sheet owners with the same relevant props. The actual Sheet retains native dismissal/header ownership. The test migration exercises DOM events with external native leaves; it is not a physical React Native pass.
  • Both request/viewer suites retain initial disabling, offered-empty and multi-select selection, selected state, permission revocation with zero command, exact qualified source payload/revision, lost-acknowledgement retry identity, refresh/new identity, original/latest result text, diagnostics disclosure, qualified nested navigation/pagination/back and denied Stop. These are observable mounted interactions, not static markup or callback-only substitutes for the whole flow.
  • Lifecycle tests retain all transcript/notification/background entrypoints: negotiated jobs read through A whether B is connected or absent, while local/imported navigation and unavailable destinations retain their existing behavior. Removing unnecessary partial module/button mocks and fixing the hoisted request fixture binding do not remove these assertions. Both suites passed together through the full existing compiled web configuration in Chromium.
  • PeerGrantSettings keeps the guarded command, permission-based disabled state, failure toast, interruption exclusion and saving cleanup. The actual useAtomCommand returns a Promise and runAtomCommand is async; .then(...).finally(...) preserves fulfillment, rejection and reporting-error cleanup/propagation. The exact unchanged compiler coverage case passes. No new web production feature is in the two-test extension.

Metadata and source attribution

Read both docs/fork-features.md and docs/map.md diffs. Canonical ownership remains singular, secondary owners move to sharedFiles, the renamed test and existing settings owner are registered, and the map references the compatibility PR. Inventory passes with52features and no gate change.

Independently compared the eight claimed exact-transfer files with stopped checkpoint d892050cb97854e08ca1ca427fc762caebbd69f7: all match byte-for-byte. The two adapted web tests retain the behavior above. No wholesale383 feature import occurred.

Checked author evidence, historical records and limits

Inspected actual current final outputs and retained failure signatures, including RunGroups/Spectrum2reds, React Compiler red,19web errors, missing browser executable/ESM setup, Uninitialized fixture, missing buttonVariants, and interrupted/no-verdict collection attempts. Those are not converted into behavioral reds or passes. The final compiled23pass is independently reproduced here.

Author current-source85server/11native/3mobile/23DOM/23Chromium/compiler/lint/format/export/fork logs retain their stated identities. Scoped lint/format/Knip/fork executions beyond my inventory/whitespace check are reused author evidence, not my reruns. The old116-case/159/255 proofs and prior Sol141-test/compiler report remain historical, not current complete merge coverage.

Package compilation and repository Chromium tests do not replace them. Current-main synthesis and the383cascade remain parent-owned. No blocker or original production policy is waived.

No source/index edit, commit/push, checkout/rebase/merge/topology mutation, other-worktree write, product/dev server, browser panel/device, live grant/data/provider operation, additional agent or status mutation occurred. All finite reviewer commands completed. Only task-local evidence and isolated native fixture/DOM/repository Chromium tests were used. The only authorized forge write is this complete PR comment.

What: APPROVE PR #539 at 2b9443bae55bb712b6872c0ab75f92976fa2e870. This independent review of the whole component (22 files, +593/-336 against base 63c41e7b) found no supported defect.
Why: The answerer policy that Sol approved at 116b has not changed. The new baseline transfer is byte-identical to the stopped #383 checkpoint, its formatter-only files match token for token, and the migrated client tests still check observable behavior. All fresh focused tests and the three package compilers pass on this exact head.
So what: The parent combines this verdict with Sol's round 2 and owns current CI, the #383 cascade and the final approval PR. This comment sets no aggregate status.

Requirements and who asked: The user authorized a fallback independent whole-component review by Claude Opus 5.5 at MEDIUM effort after Grok returned 402. Scope: exact head 2b9443ba, all 22 files, keeping the #379 v5, #369 and #533 invariants.
Deleted: Approval transfer from 116b, a delta-only lens, source repair, repo-wide checks, product, browser or device driving, and subdelegation.
Bottleneck: Confirm that the 116b→2b transfer changes no policy, and that the migrated tests still exercise real behavior in DOM and compiled Chromium.
Checked myself: Exact identities, the full base→head diff, byte comparison with d892, a whitespace-stripped comparison of the formatter files, manifest hashes, and fresh tests and compilers (listed below).

Identity

  • Claude Code harness, model claude-opus-5-5. MEDIUM effort as stated in the authorization; I could not read this thread's persisted configuration from inside the review. No fallback, no subdelegation, not the author.
  • Base 63c41e7b0ab32460dae0287b448a87c3ac9e8e51, HEAD 2b9443bae55bb712b6872c0ab75f92976fa2e870, tree 7701851d176a136cbe52b3b526fe8031297fe352. Detached workspace 379-review-539-grok, clean before and after. The PR head shown live matches.
  • The manifest SHA 08690b9b…6b55 and patch SHA c9e36252…4594 match. All 50 log hashes and all present source hashes match. The only "mismatch" is apps/web/src/components/chat/RemotePendingRequest.test.tsx, which the manifest records as null because it was deleted by the rename.

Findings

APPROVE. No required change.

Policy core (unchanged since 116b, re-read in full)

  • pendingRequests.ts requestAnswerer checks in this order: own, then verified ancestor (isCallerAncestor), then the Promachos (local isPromachosThread or linkedPromachos) only when no ancestor has first say. ancestorHasFirstSay continues above deleted parents and keeps the strict > now-30min boundary; the new exact-30-minute and 30:00.001 cases cover both sides. A delegatedFrom target always stays with its parent.
  • linkedPromachos requires caller === undefined and linked === true. It intersects the client ceiling with the frozen authority ceiling or the legacy ceiling, and needs full-access/default. A narrowed link keeps its fence (tested).
  • PendingRequestService.execute:
    • The relaxation applies only when requestTarget is local and equals the root. It still goes through the subtree/pendingWithinTask relationship check and the actual-target checkThread + checkTarget, then assertTargetWithinLimits.
    • own or undefined is denied, so self, unrelated and outside-OAuth callers cannot answer, including on questions where no local caller exists.
    • Skipping assertSameLink happens only when PeerAuthority is absent and the answerer is a Promachos. That matches main533's writesThreads(() => []) for promachosThreadId.
    • answeredBy is attached only for Promachos responses.
  • PeerAuthority.pendingActor: missing actor evidence now returns undefined, which means "no ancestor", not privilege. The authenticated-human route stays separate (requireClient / fromTask).
  • PeerForwarding sends promachosThreadId only for t3_pending_request_* tools, and only when the loaded native caller is the Promachos. A client cannot spoof it.
  • ws.ts RPC split: the core and orchestration groups are complementary filters, both get annotateMerge of the original annotations, and the handler sets are omit/pick over the same complete handler object. Sol's handler and middleware analysis still holds, since this file is unchanged since 116b.

Baseline transfer (116b→2b, 12 paths)

  • The 8 claimed checkpoint paths match d892050c blob for blob. pullRequests/handlers.ts and RemoteDelegation.ts are identical to 116b once whitespace is removed, so formatting only and no runtime change.
  • RunGroups.integration.test.ts replaces a brittle whole-key equality with a schema decode plus checks on provider, model, child identity and the absence of group, remote and terminal fields.
  • spectrum/settings.integration.test.ts follows the returned threadId, checks that replay returns the same result, and compares fork_spectra rows before and after invalid inputs, so a rejection cannot pass vacuously.
  • PeerGrantSettings.tsx: the .then(...).finally(setSaving(false)) keeps the guarded save, the error toast with interrupted results excluded, and the cleanup on rejection. useAtomCommand is typed to return a Promise and the compiler accepts it, so the synchronous-throw difference does not apply.
  • Mobile: the import moves to the existing ui/AppText and ui/Sheet owners with the same props. The test moves to react-dom + jsdom; aria-pressed now comes from accessibilityState.selected in the RN mock.
  • Web:
    • The rename to .browser.test.tsx puts the remote-request suite under the browser project. apps/web/vite.config.ts:75 excludes it from unit, and CI ci.yml:271-290 runs the browser project, so CI coverage is kept.
    • The hoisted mutable state.remoteTasks object replaces the throwing getter. That changes test binding only.
    • Removing the partial original/button/hovercard mocks in V2LifecycleRow.remote.browser.test.tsx exercises the real Button. Clicks are real DOM click()s.
  • Assertions still in place:
    • Remote request (web and mobile): request-details reveal and hide, empty and normal choices, permission revoke and restore, the button disabled with no calls while refused, retry identity, and the same environment on every call.
    • Remote task viewer: private-ID hiding, stop disabled, and qualified pagination.
    • Lifecycle row: source-only transcript, notification and background routes; the local, connected and absent destinations; and the "Read through A" text.
None of this is static markup or callback-only proof.
  • Metadata: PeerGrantSettings.tsx (added by feat(peer): preserve authority and native returns across environments #391) appears once, under the peer feature. The renamed test is registered, and the map adds PR #539 to RPR.

Fresh checks run by this reviewer

  3. vp test run apps/server/src/mcp/RunGroups.integration.test.ts apps/server/src/spectrum/settings.integration.test.ts: 17 passed / 2 files, exit 0.
  4. From apps/web: vp test run --config /tmp/539-r2-opus/browser.config.mts --project browser on both migrated web files: 23 passed in headless /usr/bin/chromium, exit 0. The config is the author's disposable wrapper, re-pointed at this review tree; it only sets executablePath.
  5. vp test run apps/web/src/reactCompilerCoverage.test.ts -t PeerGrantSettings.tsx: 1 passed / 1093 skipped.
  6. vp run --filter t3 typecheck, --filter @t3tools/mobile typecheck, --filter @t3tools/web typecheck: all exit 0.
  7. git diff --check 63c41e7b HEAD: clean.

Total: 88 fresh passing tests and 3 compilers. I did not rerun lint, fmt, knip or fork-check. For those I checked only the author's log hashes, not reran them.

What: APPROVE PR #539 at 2b9443bae55bb712b6872c0ab75f92976fa2e870. This round 3 review of the whole component (22 files, +593/-336 against base 63c41e7b) found no supported defect.
Why: This round fixes the procedural gap in my round 2 report: I read the required AgentsMD procedures in full first, then re-evaluated the whole candidate from scratch. The answerer and authority composition still holds at the actual destination, and the inherited consumer repairs still test real behavior. Fresh focused tests, compiled Chromium and all three package compilers pass on this exact head.
So what: The parent combines this verdict with Sol's round 2 and still owns current CI, the #383 cascade and the final approval PR. This comment sets no aggregate or review/independent status.

Requirements and who asked: The parent and the user asked for a fresh whole-component review of exact head 2b9443ba by Claude Opus 5.5 at MEDIUM (the user-authorized fallback for Grok). It had to come after reading the operations procedures in full and keep the #379 v5, #369 and #533 invariants.
Deleted: Approval transfer from round 2 or from 116b, a delta-only lens, source repair, repo-wide checks, a rerun of the full 116-case workflow, product, browser-panel or device driving, and subdelegation.
Bottleneck: Show that the answerer policy is enforced at the actual target under the real dispatch guard, and that the migrated consumers still observe behavior.
Checked myself: Persisted Color, Git and live PR identity, the full base→head diff with its owners and callers, a comparison with merged #533, Effect 4.0.5 RpcGroup semantics, token equality of the formatter files, manifest hashes, and fresh tests and compilers (listed below).

Applied guidance

I read these in full before this review: AgentsMD skills/operations/SKILL.md, references/verification.md, procedures/code-review/index.md, references/review-method.md, references/impact-analysis.md, references/orchestration.md and references/bounded-delegation.md. I also read the repo AGENTS.md, the direction triad (supplied by the hook), GLOSSARY.md, the Great Library README, the full current #539 body, the canonical handoff (/tmp/chromeria-379-compat-baseline-handoff.md, which mirrors 3796270880310), the full Opus round 2 report 6271065140, and the full Sol round 2 report 6271047252. I treated both prior reports as claims and checked them against the code.

Identity

Findings

APPROVE. There are no required changes and no optional rewrites.

Policy core

  • pendingRequests.ts. The base 63c41 referenced requestAnswerer without defining it, and this candidate supplies it.
    • Compared with merged feat(orchestration): the Promachos answers requests no parent can #533 d17be12f it is byte-identical except one change: linkedPromachos now intersects the client ceiling with scope.authority?.ceiling ?? legacyPeerCeiling. That only narrows access.
    • The order is own, then verified ancestor, then Promachos only when !ancestorHasFirstSay. The walk continues above a deleted parent, uses a strict > now-30min boundary (tests cover exactly 30:00 and 30:00.001), and gives delegatedFrom to the parent.
  • PendingRequestService.execute.
    • The new relaxation skips the root caller and ancestor check only when requestTarget equals {here, root}. That path is then identical to the case with no requestTarget.
    • The subtree or pendingWithinTask check still runs. After it, checkThread and checkTarget run on the actual target (or assertSameLink when there is no PeerAuthority and the answerer is not Promachos), then assertTargetWithinLimits. Finally own and undefined answerers are refused.
    • Cleared difference from main533: main let an own answerer, meaning an outside client with no caller, respond to questions. This candidate refuses it, which keeps the stricter feat(peer): surface and answer remote descendant requests from the parent #369 rule the brief requires (self, unrelated and outside-OAuth callers are denied, including on questions where no local caller exists). The authenticated-human route stays separate (PendingClientSession → requireClient, and fromTask).
  • handlers.ts. writesThread → writesThreads(() => []) keeps writingCaller (read-only refusal, live caller) and DispatchModeLimit with the under-lock refusal mapping. Only the per-root resource check moves to the service's actual target, so no blanket McpToolAccess bypass is added.
  • PeerAuthority.pendingActor. Missing actor evidence now returns undefined, which means no ancestor. Its only caller, isCallerAncestor, maps that to false, so an unknown identity never becomes privilege.
  • PeerForwarding. It attaches promachosThreadId only for t3_pending_request_* tools, and only when the loaded native caller passes isPromachosThread.
    • The ingress (McpHttpServer.withPromachosThread) honors it only for client.linked === true.
    • The receiver still needs full-access/default within the frozen or legacy ceiling. This is the cooperative trust model, not protection against a hostile peer server.
    • pending532 shows that a default created-work grant refuses, an environment-resources grant allows, plan mode on the source refuses, a non-Promachos worker is refused, exactly one of two concurrent answers wins, answeredBy is persisted on both the request and the timeline item, and a remote delegated child stays with its actual parent.
  • ws.ts.
    • In installed Effect 4.0.5, RpcGroup.middleware maps each rpc's .middleware, and annotateMerge merges per rpc. The rebuilt orchestration and core groups therefore keep middleware and annotations.
    • Handler objects are Struct.omit/Struct.pick over the same complete object, using complementary filters.
    • RpcServer.make still serves the complete ServerWsRpcGroup.
    • The removed projectSetupScriptRunner yield and the Fiber/Schedule imports had no other references at base.

Baseline transfer and consumers

  • pullRequests/handlers.ts and RemoteDelegation.ts are token-equal to base once all whitespace is stripped. They are formatting only.
  • RunGroups decodes the actual result and checks identity and that the optional observations are absent. Spectrum follows the returned threadId, checks replay equality, and compares SQL rows before and after invalid inputs, so a rejection cannot pass vacuously.
  • PeerGrantSettings: useAtomCommand returns Promise<AtomCommandResult>. .then(...).finally(setSaving(false)) keeps the guarded save, the failure toast with interrupted results excluded, cleanup on rejection, and propagation.
  • Mobile: ui/AppText and ui/Sheet exist, the old paths are gone, and Sheet takes the same title/onClose.
  • Web and mobile test migrations use real DOM click()s and check textContent, disabled and aria-pressed. They still cover:
    • request-details reveal and hide, empty and multi-choice selection, permission revoke with zero calls, retry identity, and the same environment on every call;
    • private-ID hiding, stop disabled, and qualified pagination;
    • transcript, notification and background routes, the local, connected and absent destinations, and "Read through A".
None of this is static markup or callback-only proof.
  • Small non-blocking note: the shared hoisted state.remoteTasks is filled with Object.assign and is not cleared between tests. Each test sets every key it uses, so no assertion currently depends on a leftover value.
  • Metadata: PeerGrantSettings.tsx has one owner, the renamed test is registered, and the map cites PR #539 on RPR.

  3. From apps/web: vp test run --config /tmp/539-r3-opus/browser.config.mts --project browser on both migrated files: 23 passed in headless /usr/bin/chromium, exit 0. The disposable wrapper imports this review tree's full vite.config.ts and only sets executablePath.
  4. vp run --filter t3 typecheck, --filter @t3tools/web typecheck, --filter @t3tools/mobile typecheck: all exit 0, zero error TS.
  5. git diff --check base HEAD: clean. Final status: clean, HEAD unchanged.

Reused, not rerun (after checking hashes and log contents): the author's lint (10 files), fmt (12 files, pass), Knip exports, fork-check (52 features), and the PeerGrantSettings React Compiler case (1 passed / 1093 filtered). The author's -web-browser-final.log is an interrupted 0-test collection, correctly retained as a non-verdict. The 23-case Chromium pass comes from -browser-current.log and from my run above.

Limits

Not covered by this review:

All of these are parent-owned. The accepted #531 findings (an early notice without content must not consume the receipt, and the bounded root turn-item query) remain separately owned. This component neither masks nor proves them, and its formatting-only RemoteDelegation edit is not their repair.

No source or index writes, commits, topology changes, product or dev servers, live data, grants, provider prompts or subdelegation. This comment is the only external write.

What: Independent whole-component review passes for PR539 exact head 2b9443bae55bb712b6872c0ab75f92976fa2e870 against base 63c41e7b0ab32460dae0287b448a87c3ac9e8e51.
Why: Sol MEDIUM and user-authorized Opus5.5 MEDIUM independently reviewed all22files and reported APPROVE with no supported blocking defect; the parent read both full reports and checked their identities and relevant source/evidence.
So what: Set review/independent SUCCESS on this head only. Keep the component frozen and unmerged until current CI finishes successfully; upper383/current-main/531/537 and final combined acceptance remain separate.

Requirements and who asked: User379 requires independent exact-candidate review; the latest user explicitly authorizes Opus5.5MEDIUM after the bounded Grok retry fails.
Deleted: Grok failure counted as approval, historical116b verdict transfer, subset-only review, test-count voting, procedural omission accepted without correction, duplicate code changes for an unsupported concern, or CI/whole-outcome acceptance inferred from review.

What: Move the existing537recovery fixture repair into lower compatibility539 before its next reviewed candidate; do not merge539with failedCI.
Why: Actual2bServer7 failed only the known unchanged RecoveryReactor test (1failed/1199passed/2skipped). Keeping its repair in a component scheduled after539 creates a lower-CI/upper-fix gate cycle.
So what: Resume the same539compatibility owner for the exact preserved test repair and necessary map539reference; obtain fresh complete independent reviews andCI on its new head. Keep537draft as an explicit absorption record, then close it as absorbed once539lands; do not claim537merged.

Deleted: Merging539red, independently rebuilding recovery logic, production coalescer changes, sleeps/timeout tweaks, weakened duplicate assertion, treating old review success as new-head approval, and blind CI retries.

What: APPROVE PR #539 at 472e960572ccd6c842869962acd294797e1feff3. This round 4 review of the whole component (23 files, +617/-338 against base 63c41e7b) found no supported defect.
Why: The new recovery fixture waits until the observer has processed a live event before it measures the four-event batch, so startup replay can no longer split that batch. A fresh mutation that removes the production new Set fails the same assertion. The rest of the component is byte-identical to the 2b9443ba candidate, and I re-read its policy core.
So what: The parent combines this verdict with Sol's and owns current CI, the #383 cascade and the final approval PR. This comment sets no aggregate or review/independent status.

Requirements and who asked: The parent and the user asked for a fresh review of the whole component by Claude Opus 5.5 at MEDIUM, at exact head 472e9605. It had to read the operations procedures first and keep the #379 v5, #369 and #533 invariants plus the finite #537 test transfer.
Deleted: Approval transfer from rounds 2 and 3, a delta-only lens, source repair, repo-wide checks, a rerun of the full 116-case workflow, product, browser or device driving, and subdelegation.
Bottleneck: Show that the transferred fixture measures a real live batch under the actual EventSink subscription, and that it still rejects a broken coalescer.
Checked myself: Persisted configuration, Git and live PR identity, the 2b→472 delta and the base→head policy diff, the EventSink replay and live mechanics, a fresh new Set mutation with byte-exact restore, manifest hashes, and fresh focused tests plus the server compiler (listed below).

Applied guidance

Before reviewing I read these in full: AgentsMD skills/operations/SKILL.md (canonical and installed copies match), references/verification.md, procedures/code-review/index.md, references/review-method.md, references/impact-analysis.md, references/test-design.md, procedures/diagnosis/index.md and references/implementation.md. I also read the repo AGENTS.md, the direction triad, the Great Library README, the full current #539 body, the parent decision 6271477541, the full handoff 3796271556362, and the full prior reports from Sol R2 (6271047252), Opus R2 (6271065140), Opus R3 (6271180993) and the aggregate response (6271196952). I treated all of them as claims to check.

Identity

  • Persisted configuration, read with t3_thread_configuration: claudeAgent / claude-opus-5-5 / effort=medium, through the Claude Code harness. No fallback, no subdelegation, not the author.
  • Base 63c41e7b0ab32460dae0287b448a87c3ac9e8e51, HEAD 472e960572ccd6c842869962acd294797e1feff3, tree 79e196e151cc3f07a78a5835beaa22ea29eba314. The PR is OPEN and the live head matches. The detached review tree 379-review-539-grok was clean before and after.
  • Manifest /tmp/compat539-r3-candidate.json SHA a6e127db…5eb9 and patch SHA c6a53905…397af match. All 45 file and log hashes in it match. The only unhashed file entry is the web test deleted by the rename.

Findings

APPROVE. There are no required changes.

Delta 2b→472

  • Only apps/server/src/prism/RecoveryReactor.test.ts and docs/map.md change. The test blob is 2e2d14ca…, the same as fcd3162f:apps/server/src/prism/RecoveryReactor.test.ts. RecoveryReactor.ts, EventSink.ts and recovery.testkit.ts are unchanged from 2b.
  • Mechanism I checked in source:
    • The Reactor's observer subscribes from forkScoped after latestSequence(). EventSink.stream subscribes to the live PubSub, captures highWater, replays up to it, then filters live events above it.
    • Replayed events come from paged store reads. That is how the original four-event batch could arrive as single-event chunks when the fiber subscribed late.
    • The seed events are thread.created, run.created and turn-item.updated. The Reactor's filter drops them, so the only marker callback before the batch is the new recovery-live-ready run.updated.
    • Deferred.await(observing) resolves only after the observer has processed that event. The observer has therefore subscribed and captured a highWater at or below the ready event's sequence. The batch is written afterwards, so it can only arrive live through one publishAll.
    • The ready chunk touches only the marker thread, so touched.length = 0 cannot race with leftover callbacks.
  • The assertion [run.threadId, marker.threadId] is unchanged. It rejects three faulty implementations: duplicate callbacks per event, a global sweep (which pushes global), and a missing marker.
  • Failure case: if the observer never starts, Deferred.await(observing) hangs until the vitest timeout. The test fails with a timeout rather than an assertion. That is less informative, but it is not a false pass. Not blocking.
  • Map: PR #539 is added to the existing PZ Prism routing part. No other part changes, and it does not claim test(prism): measure recovery coalescing after live observation starts #537 merged.

Whole component (unchanged since 2b, re-read)

  • requestAnswerer checks in this order: own, then verified ancestor, then the Promachos only while no ancestor has first say. ancestorHasFirstSay continues above deleted parents, uses the strict 30-minute boundary, and gives a delegatedFrom target to its parent.
  • linkedPromachos requires no local caller and a linked client. It intersects the client ceiling with the frozen or legacy ceiling, and needs full-access/default.
  • PendingRequestService.execute:
    • The new relaxation skips the root check only when requestTarget is {here, root}.
    • The subtree or pendingWithinTask check still runs. After it come the actual-target checkThread and checkTarget (or assertSameLink when there is no PeerAuthority and the answerer is not the Promachos), then assertTargetWithinLimits.
    • own and undefined answerers are refused, so self, unrelated and outside-OAuth callers are denied, including on questions with no local caller.
    • answeredBy is attached only to Promachos responses.
  • writesThreads(() => []) keeps live-caller and read-only admission and DispatchModeLimit. Only the resource check moves to the service's actual target. pendingActor now returns undefined when actor evidence is missing, and that means no ancestor, never privilege. PeerForwarding attaches promachosThreadId only for t3_pending_request_* tools and only from the loaded native caller.
  • I accept the prior reports' analysis of the baseline consumers (RunGroups, Spectrum, ws.ts RPC split, the formatter-only paths, mobile and web test migrations, PeerGrantSettings) as still applicable. Those paths are byte-identical to 2b. This round I re-ran only the server and mobile parts, not Chromium or the web and mobile compilers (see Limits).

Fresh checks by this reviewer

Prefix: npm exec --yes --package=node@24.13.1 --package=pnpm@11.10.0 -- pnpm exec. Logs are in /tmp/opus539-r4/.

  1. vp test run apps/server/src/prism/RecoveryReactor.test.ts: 3 passed, exit 0.
  2. Mutation probe in this review tree only: replacing new Set(storedEvents.map(...)) with the plain array in RecoveryReactor.ts gives 1 failed / 2 passed, exit 1: expected [ 'thread:recovery', …(3) ] to deeply equal [ 'thread:recovery', 'marker-child' ]. That is the intended cause: three duplicate run callbacks plus the marker. Restoring the copied original leaves git status clean. The restored run gives 3 passed.
  3. The buffered case run three more times with -t buffered: 1 passed each, exit 0.
  4. vp test run on pendingRequests.test.ts, PeerForwarding.promachos.test.ts, RunGroups.integration.test.ts, spectrum/settings.integration.test.ts, runtimeLayer.test.ts and the mobile RemotePendingRequest.test.tsx: 138 passed / 6 files, exit 0.
  5. vp test run apps/server/src/peer/PeerAuthority.workflow.test.ts -t 'pending369|pending532': 11 passed / 105 skipped, exit 0.
  6. vp run --filter t3 typecheck: exit 0, no error TS.
  7. node scripts/fork-features.mjs check: OK, 52 features. git diff --check base HEAD: clean.

Limits

  • Reused, not rerun on this head: the web and mobile compilers, the 23 compiled Chromium web cases, the PeerGrantSettings React Compiler case, and the author's lint, fmt and Knip runs. Their paths are unchanged since 2b, where Sol R2 and Opus R3 ran them.
  • Not covered here: the full 116-case workflow, current-head CI (including the earlier Server1 job state), app or Ws.layer bootstrap, integrated web, desktop or mobile clients, real providers, physical cross-machine runs, the current-main synthesis and the feat(peer): view and drive remote browsers and devices from a source-only client #383 cascade. All of these are parent-owned.
  • The accepted fix(orchestration): wake parents for remote pending requests #531 findings remain separately owned. This component neither masks nor proves them.

No commits, pushes, topology changes, other-worktree writes, product or dev servers, live data, grants, provider prompts or subdelegation. The only source write was the disposable mutation probe above, restored byte for byte. This comment is the only external write.

What: APPROVE PR #539 at 472e960572ccd6c842869962acd294797e1feff3; this fresh independent whole-component review found no supported blocking defect.
Why: The request-answerer composition retains actual-target authority and native admission, the inherited consumers retain meaningful behavior, and the recovery fixture now observes the real subscription before measuring its live batch.
So what: The parent aggregates the required reviews and owns current CI, component integration, the remaining cascade and final acceptance; this report sets no aggregate status or merge/shipment approval.

Identity and method

  • Base and merge-base: 63c41e7b0ab32460dae0287b448a87c3ac9e8e51.
  • HEAD: 472e960572ccd6c842869962acd294797e1feff3.
  • Tree: 79e196e151cc3f07a78a5835beaa22ea29eba314.
  • Exclusive detached review workspace: /home/luke/dev/toolboxmd/chromeria-worktrees/379-review-539-sol. Clean before and after; source/index/HEAD/tree unchanged.
  • Actual persisted selection read with t3_thread_configuration: instance codex, model gpt-6.1-sol, option reasoningEffort=medium, Codex harness. No fallback or subdelegation. The catalog's low default is not this run's selection. I did not author this component.
  • Reviewed all 23 files, 617 insertions/338 deletions from base to HEAD, including the whole original production policy, baseline consumers, renamed test, recovery fixture and both metadata files. This is not a two-path or fix-only review.
  • Read canonical operations, verification, code-review, review-method and impact-analysis before source review, then repository instructions, direction/glossaries and Great Library guidance. Applied diagnosis and research guidance to the retained failure/history evidence.
  • Read the current PR body and complete frozen handoff3796271556362, parent absorption decision6271477541, complete Sol R2/Opus R2/Opus R3 reports6271047252/6271065140/6271180993 and aggregate6271196952. Their verdicts remain historical. The Opus R2 procedural omission is not accepted as current approval.

Requirements and who asked: The user/parent requires a fresh whole PR539 MEDIUM review preserving #379 v5, #369 native guarantees and merged #533 answering, plus the finite existing #383/#537 baseline repairs.
Deleted: Approval transfer, subset-only review, source repair, production coalescer changes, speculative architecture, separately owned #531 features, broad local checks and product/live-system operations.
Bottleneck: Confirm actual-target authority/native acceptance and faithful recovery subscription readiness on the frozen candidate, then return evidence to the parent.
Checked myself: Persisted Color, Git/live PR identities, every cumulative diff path and affected owners, manifests/source/log hashes, checkpoint/formatter equivalence, native subscription/replay/lifetime, retained failures, fresh server/native/client/Chromium/compiler checks and final clean source.

Findings and coverage

APPROVE. No required correction or optional rewrite is requested.

Request policy and native acceptance

Inspected childThreads/PendingRequestService.ts, pendingRequests.ts and its tests; mcp/toolkits/thread/handlers.ts; peer/PeerAuthority.ts, PeerForwarding.ts, forwarding tests and the complete workflow delta; and orchestration-v2/runtimeLayer.test.ts, with inherited HTTP ingress, invocation, role, client-command, dispatch and response-admission owners.

  • Verified native/transitive qualified ancestry is first. The alternative requires the actual stored top-level Promachos role. Existing launch, inherited-child and fork protections remain. Active grandparents above deleted parents retain first say; exact 30-minute and one-millisecond-inside controls remain. Remote delegated children stay with their real parent.
  • Forwarding uses the actual loaded source caller, attaches the claim only to pending-request tools, and HTTP ingress honors it only for an authenticated linked client. The receiver intersects client modes with frozen authority or legacy ceilings and requires full-access/default. Runtime mode does not create environment-resource access. This remains the cooperative user-controlled-server trust model, not an OS sandbox or protection against a compromised peer server.
  • Direct qualified targeting reaches the service's actual destination checks. Subtree or pendingWithinTask proof remains for the selected relationship. checkThread retains current original contributors; checkTarget retains the invocation resource predicate. Modern created-work/environment-resource distinctions and legitimate legacy behavior remain intact.
  • writesThreads(() => []) retains live-caller/read-only checks, routing and DispatchModeLimit; resource checking moves to the service's actual destination. Native dispatch checks addressed-target modes under the lock. No broad MCP access bypass is introduced.
  • Missing actor evidence becomes no ancestor, not privilege. The service refuses undefined/own answerers, including missing-local-caller questions. The authenticated-human fromTask/PendingClientSession route remains separate and session-validated. Ordinary eligible ancestral runtime approvals remain lawful.
  • Only Promachos responses attach answeredBy. Native request and timeline attribution, one answer message and one concurrent winner are observed in the current native tests. Client claims remain stripped by the inherited owner.
  • feat(peer): surface and answer remote descendant requests from the parent #369 S1 still reads native request content and revision inside one same-client SQL snapshot, discarding initial management content, with network ancestry/authority outside SQL. Missing native projection ownership fails. S2 preserves selected advertised empty values while rejecting absent required answers, invalid shapes and invalid options. Serialized revision/status/content/Stop/commit guards, retry receipts, selected-task isolation and intake-before-commit remain. All ten retained pending369 cases plus pending532 passed freshly.

Recovery observer fixture

Read the complete test, RecoveryReactor.ts, recovery.testkit.ts, serverActivation.ts and EventSink subscription/replay owner.

  • Production coalescing is unchanged. The transferred test blob is exactly 2e2d14ca443d644d64a931cd96ad7d181f79d3d0, matching preserved537. The only delta from2b is this test and the existing Prism map reference.
  • Seed events are thread.created/run.created/turn-item.updated, all excluded by the observer filter. Therefore the first marker recovery callback is caused by the explicit native run.updated readiness write, not seed replay. EventSink subscribes before capturing its replay high-water and concatenates replay before live delivery. Awaiting that callback completes the real startup path before clearing observations and writing the original four-event live batch.
  • Both observations use the same marker thread with distinct events. The second marker callback releases the measured batch assertion after the preceding run callbacks. The unchanged exact recipient array detects duplicates, a global sweep and settled-child sweeps. No test-created subscription or fabricated ready flag substitutes for the real callback. Native write failures or an observer that never reaches the milestone cannot turn into a passing assertion. The observer remains owned by the layer's scoped fiber and is cancelled on scope exit.
  • Fresh execution passes all three cases: failure/idle-Stop retry and release, live buffered coalescing, and indexed thread-specific query plans.
  • Inspected actual2bCI log: the sole Server7 failure is the duplicate recovery assertion, with 1 failed/1199 passed/2 skipped. Inspected original high-water202/after0 singleton replay199-202, corrected live green, valid no-Set mutation red and restored3pass logs. The invalid restore-before-module-load attempt is not proof. Historical mutation evidence is not relabeled an exact472 mutation run; no production mutation was performed here.

Remaining server and client repairs

  • mcp/RunGroups.integration.test.ts decodes the actual public single-task result and checks model/provider/child identity plus absent group/remote/terminal observations. It removes incidental optional-key equality without removing behavior.
  • spectrum/settings.integration.test.ts follows actual returned thread IDs, verifies same-key replay and unchanged saved settings, and compares real persisted SQL rows after invalid/unconfigured calls. No fabricated-ID negative control remains.
  • Workflow resolver/common-runtime context, Spectrum registry, explicit fixture purpose and returned native worktree binding are bounded existing-owner repairs. They do not weaken production admission.
  • ws.ts partitions the non-fork RPC descriptors into complementary core/orchestration groups, retains the complete original handler object and original serving group, and copies group annotations. Installed Effect4.0.5 stores middleware on each RPC descriptor, so rebuilding groups from those objects preserves it. Authorization/instrumentation layers remain at RpcServer. No handler or guard omission found; full application bootstrap is not claimed.
  • mcp/toolkits/pullRequests/handlers.ts and peer/RemoteDelegation.ts preserve every non-whitespace byte against base, and the actual diffs only reformat ternaries. No fix(orchestration): wake parents for remote pending requests #531 notice repair is imported.
  • Mobile RemotePendingRequest.tsx and RemoteTaskViewer.tsx use the existing ui/AppText/ui/Sheet owners with preserved props. The migrated mobile test uses mounted DOM actions with native leaves mocked; this is not physical React Native proof.
  • Web RemotePendingRequest.browser.test.tsx and V2LifecycleRow.remote.browser.test.tsx retain initial disabled state, empty and multi-choice selection, selected state, permission revocation with zero command, qualified payload/revision, lost-acknowledgement retry identity, refreshed identity, disclosure, original/latest results, pagination/nested navigation/back and denied Stop. Transcript/notification/background entrypoints retain source-only reads through A with B connected or absent, plus local/imported navigation. The two web files pass together under the full compiled Chromium configuration. Stable hoisted fixture binding and removed unnecessary partial mocks do not remove these oracles.
  • PeerGrantSettings.tsx preserves the guarded save, disabled/saving state, failure toast, interrupted-result exclusion, error propagation and cleanup. The actual runAtomCommand is async and returns a Promise, supporting .then(...).finally(...); the unchanged React Compiler case passes.
  • docs/fork-features.md preserves singular canonical ownership and registers the rename/settings owner; docs/map.md cites539 on existing parts. Inventory passes52features. All eight claimed exact checkpoint transfers match d892 bytes.

The current map differs from that old manifest as the authorized delta requires. Inspected scoped final lint/format/Knip/fork outputs and retained failure signatures. Those author executions are reused evidence, not my reruns or a new complete gate. Historical116b full116/159/255 and2bpolicy/consumer/compiler runs retain their original identities.

Exact duplicate embeddings were checked: the369appendix contains the canonical repair verbatim and the531disposition includes both complete reports. No historical approval transfers.

The separately owned531early content-less notice receipt and unbounded root turn-item query findings remain separate; this component neither implements nor proves their repair. Original native404/discovery/timing/cost UNKNOWNs remain unknown. No Server1 cause is inferred.

The full116-case workflow on472, current-head complete CI, full application/Ws.layer startup, integrated web/desktop/mobile client evidence/images, real provider processes, physical-machine behavior, OS/process-crash proof, migration/rollback, current-main/383cascade and combined379acceptance remain unverified here and parent-owned. Focused tests and package compilers are scoped feedback, not a complete merge gate. PR537 remains preserved/draft, not merged; parent owns closure as absorbed after539lands.

No source/index edit, commit/push, checkout/rebase/merge/topology mutation, other-worktree write, product/dev server, browser panel/device, live grant/data/provider operation, dependency installation, extra agent or status mutation occurred. All finite checks completed. PR539 is app-linked and watching=false. The only task forge write is this full findings comment.

What: Fresh independent whole-component reviews approve PR #539 at472e960572ccd6c842869962acd294797e1feff3; no supported blocking finding remains.
Why: Both reviewers checked the full23-file candidate and actual-target request authority, baseline consumers and faithful recovery fixture; Opus also ran a fresh discriminating production-coalescer mutation and restored it byte for byte.
So what: The review status can pass on this exact head, while integration still waits for the complete current CI gate. No merge, #537 absorption closure, approval transfer or final379readiness is claimed.

Requirements and who asked: User379 requires reviewed component PRs and a final cumulative approval PR; the standing fallback authorizes independent Sol MEDIUM and Opus5.5 MEDIUM after Grok failed.
Deleted: Further Grok delay, old2bapproval transfer, subset-only verdict, scoped-proof substitution for complete CI and bypassing the supported squash-merge path.
Bottleneck: Actions run39282401928 still reports every job queued with no steps at this readiness inspection. This observed queue state has no established cause and is not CI success.
Checked myself: Read BOTH complete reports, exact base/head/tree, source cleanliness after all probes, original and current manifests, current live PR head/base and actual Actions jobs rather than relying only on the PR rollup.

It explicitly separates unchanged2bweb/mobilecompiler/Chromium/compilerlint evidence from fresh executions. No supported blocker.

Both frozen review trees are clean, unchanged at exact472, and both native delegated jobs report terminal with no pending child runs. No review is author self-approval. All prior reports, accepted findings/responses and parent recovery absorption decision remain inputs, not transferred verdicts. Parent independently inspected the actual recovery test change and matching537blob plus cumulative manifest/source/log hashes; the production coalescer remains unchanged.

review/independent success records only this aggregate exact-candidate review. Actual current CI, app/Ws.layer startup, integrated real clients/providers/machines, final current-main synthesis and #383cascade/complete379acceptance remain separate gates. Earlier2bServer7red is repaired by the transferred fixture but is not relabeled currentCIgreen. #537 stays draft/preserved until539actuallylands, then closes as absorbed rather than merged.

No main merge, deploy, installed Chromeria restart, live grants/data or package version changes. Parent remains sole topology owner; routine supported internal squash merge follows only when current exact readiness is verified.

What: The watch alert names historical2bServer7failure; current472Server7and the fullCIworkflow reportSUCCESS.
Why: The notified job118146648689 belongs to2b9443bae55bb712b6872c0ab75f92976fa2e870 and its recovery fixture was already repaired by472; current run39282401928 is completed/success on472e960572ccd6c842869962acd294797e1feff3.
So what: No duplicate repair or rerun is warranted. Parent retains the reviewed candidate and waits for remaining current PR gates, including native fingerprint reporting, before any internal merge.

Requirements and who asked: User379requires exact-current complete proof and independently reviewed internal integration, with no main merge/deploy/runningChromeriarestart/live-data change.

What: PR #539 is ready for the user-authorized internal squash merge at exact472e960572ccd6c842869962acd294797e1feff3 into #379's integration branch.
Why: Fresh whole-component Sol and Opus5.5 MEDIUM reviews approve this head, complete CI/Fork/latest fingerprint checks pass, and liveGitHub reports CLEAN/MERGEABLE with the unchanged63c41base.

**What**: Exact #369 candidate42051c passed real source-only web and Codex peer request acceptance, including committed replay after both full CLI servers restarted.
**Why**: Independent tests cannot establish that the production composition, real provider callback and source-only client work together.
**So what**: The planner accepts this bounded internal component for integration into #379 after a fresh head/base/gate check; combined multi-machine/client acceptance and final shipment remain pending.

Requirements and who asked: User #379 mandates native delegated lifecycle and all permitted tools with two MEDIUM reviewers and real isolated client/provider proof.
Deleted: No fake provider, direct SQL mutation, injected browser RPC, capability expansion, alternate harness or duplicate callback.
Bottleneck: Current candidate integration; #383 shared device authority/discovery and #384/#385/#386 remain outstanding.
Checked myself: Primary planner drove actual source A browser, inspected native B events/provider results, restarted both CLI products, replayed exact original request, and reopened the same source-only result.

Identity: HEAD42051c47813c354682b80677009b199d86fef1a0, treef9efef2d7df1b8b91ac64b09018386e79ccc1d45, baseab1bf53640e2a6541a2ba9f316839cedf81d4f46. Clean author workspace /Users/rocky/.t3/worktrees/chromeria/feat-369-remote-pending-requests. Both full production servers ran that source, with meaningful copied task-owned history in NEW /tmp/chromeria-369-acceptance-a and -b; old382 homes/evidence remained untouched. Node24.18, A server14247/web7663, B14248, source incognito Browser connected ONLY to A950a38f2-e2a5-4242-9171-c17e0cb8412c. Actual B is ef047b58-1edf-4ad6-a1ba-44320188325c. No live userdata write, new grant, physical device or standalone worker server.

Human source-only flow: A actual Codex gpt-6.1-sol/MEDIUM delegated real async B task369-parent-native-question-v1 in existing B project/root. B actual Codex asked request_user_input_async, persisted pending at B sequence288. Primary opened source task viewer from transcript; browser URL stayed A, no B profile. The actual card displayed369 REAL REMOTE QUESTION, ACCEPT_369/DECLINE_369 and disabled Send answer until selection. Primary selected ACCEPT_369 and sent once. B durable request resolved at sequence290, command mcp:request:385bcb2f7e0a7415a3c0d1cda8a0cabb0b7204f83949b505a9f4fe4cb6482210:0, 2026-10-18T10:10:47.347Z. Real provider consumed the answer and completed369_REMOTE_ANSWER=ACCEPT_369. Source returned exact original result and zero pending requests. Not inferred from dispatch acceptance.

Agent tool flow: Separate deliberate B task369-parent-native-agent-answer-v1, same explicit Color. Native delegate mode wait returned on real pending question with waitTimedOut:false, requestCount1, actual qualified target/revision334. Source local list{} correctly returned[]; explicit remote descendant list returned its actual request. Native qualified read returned real369 REAL AGENT QUESTION/options/revision334. Source called t3_pending_request_respond with original target/route/expectedRevision334, answers{0:AGENT_ACCEPT_369}, stable key369-parent-agent-response-v1. Initial AND exact retry both returned sequence340. B request has exactly one pending334 and one resolved336 event; real provider completed369_AGENT_RESULT=AGENT_ACCEPT_369. Two B tasks intentionally created, each ordinal1 completed, no duplicate B run.

Restart proof: Read-only query found zero preparing/queued/starting/running/waiting runs in A/B. Primary stopped only captured own sessions47643/49402 (exit130), restarted same source and same NEW homes in sessions86505/9639. A actual Codex ordinal34 called ONLY the exact original respond input/key after reconstruction: sequence340 again. Postrestart B has no additional request resolution or provider run. Source previous-agent viewer reopened after both restarts with original human result, real accepted answer and zero pending requests. Actual client screenshot inspected before upload.

* docs(map): link remote completion provenance repair

* fix(peer): use observed purpose for first remote completion

* fix(scheduled-tasks): record refused keyed manual runs as terminal failures

A keyed run_scheduled_task_now whose dispatch failed with a typed error and
left no native receipt returned outcome_unknown and kept the schedule marked
running forever. Record it as the request's failed outcome, release the
running reservation, and replay the same failure for the same key.
Interrupted or defective dispatches stay outcome_unknown.

* fix(orchestration): accept blank optional answers in remote request admission

Remote pending-request answers with expectedRevision rejected a blank or
omitted optional choice-only question as an unoffered option. Skip blank
optional answers before validating options, matching the message-response
path.

* chore(fork): keep one owner for server shard weights

#581 registered shardWeights.json under run-groups while the integration
already owns it under fork-maintenance; fork-features requires one owner.

* test(server): weight typed peer effects by their CI time

PeerAuthority.typedEffects.workflow.test.ts takes about 197s in a CI shard
but was weighted 46.4s, so Test Server 8 exceeded its 10-minute limit.

* fix(peer): reopened parents follow their remote tasks again

Archiving a parent ended its remote follower, and nothing restarted it on
unarchive, so the reopened parent missed later remote results until a
server restart. The follower now stays registered and waits for the
parent's unarchive or deletion instead of exiting, so reopening resumes
observation without a new entry point or a duplicate follower.

* fix(peer): threads read and answer their own questions again

The replacement pending-request service refused every "own" answerer, so a
thread reading or answering its own user-input question, or an ordinary
full-access MCP client doing so, got capability_denied. Own access is
restored for local, non-linked callers on threads not delegated from
another environment. Own approvals, dismiss, linked clients and remote
delegated children keep their existing refusals.

* fix(web, mobile): remote request cards keep multiline editor answers

Remote pending-request cards rendered every custom answer as a single-line
field, so a multiline editor prefill displayed and was stored flattened.
Editor questions (those with an initialAnswer) now use the Textarea on web
and a multiline, newline-submitting field on mobile, as the local paths do.

* fix(scheduled-tasks): keyed pause and resume replay their receipt

A keyed update_scheduled_task carries clientRequestId on its input, so the
enable-only shortcut never matched: a keyed pause or resume fell through to
the full definition update and was refused without a purposeIntent. The
shortcut now ignores routing fields, and setEnabled records and replays
the keyed mutation receipt like create, update and delete. A retried
keyed pause after a later resume replays instead of retiring the newer
automation certificate.

* fix(scheduled-tasks): post-admission recheck refusals release keyed manual runs

A typed refusal from the recheck after admission, or after the dispatch
claim, now records the key as failed and frees the schedule instead of
leaving it running. The stage-guarded claim keeps uncertain dispatches
outcome_unknown.

* fix(childThreads): stop-disposed remote children stay pending background work

A parent interrupt disposes a delegated completion with disposedBy "stop"
without stopping the remote child. The sparse SQL remote arm dropped that
row while the local arm and pendingDelegatedChildTasks kept it, so shells,
auto-settlement and storage cleanup treated the parent as idle.

* fix(scheduled-tasks): final recheck refusals no longer fail a concurrent same-key dispatch

The final live recheck ran after the prepared -> dispatching claim and
terminalized a refusal from the dispatching stage. For an existing-thread
schedule a same-key retry can read dispatching and send concurrently, so
the refusal failed the request and freed the schedule while that send was
accepted. The final recheck now precedes the claim, so a refusal is only
recorded through the prepared-stage compare-and-set.

* fix(peer): finished remote jobs no longer hold back live Stops

A lifecycle-v1 follower keeps long-polling its job there after the result,
so a later Stop or follow-up is still observed. Each poll held one of the
eight shared peer permits for up to 20 s, so more than eight finished jobs
starved Stops and live observations of other jobs.

Followers whose job has nothing left to do there (result available, no
queued runs, questions or recovery wait, or a confirmed Stop) now wait on
their own semaphore. Stops, unconfirmed and acknowledged stops, live jobs
and follow-ups seen as working keep the existing eight permits.

* fix(peer): stopped remote jobs with new work there keep live permits

A confirmed Stop counted a job as settled whatever its latest snapshot
said, so fresh direct input on the destination child after the Stop
left its follower queued behind idle settled long-polls, also after a
restart.

A job is now settled only while its latest snapshot is quiet (result
available, no queued runs, questions or recovery wait); a confirmed Stop
also needs that quiet snapshot. Anything showing activity uses the
shared network permits.
