@twoGiants the oci resolver should be used here right?

No, in the yamls its the http resolver and it should stay. You need to provide a different url from where to fetch git-clone.yaml raw.

Hub documentation you need to update and mention that Tekton Hub is deprecated and users should use artifacthub instead.

Events documentation is a bit more involved. It's an old example there. It depends on how deep you want to go. You can either leave it or understand and setup cloud events and then update the entire sample output there.
