Align provider and agency
- 31 attendees on the call
- Thanks to Hunter
- Each meeting will need a notes taker
- call out to MDS survey
- Moped new vehicle type not considered a breaking change. Likely new propulsion and vehicle types will not be considered a breaking change.
- No pagination going forward on trips and status changes endpoints
- Provider reserved def means take into possession. Perhaps new event types are needed.
- Consider https://github.com/openmobilityfoundation/mobility-data-specification/pull/426
- Agency has trip start and reserved states. Reserved means holding while waiting for possession. (Jump) Adam Kidder follow reserved def. of holding for possession. Jump right now creates a TripID in the reservation as a hopeful trip event. TripID doesnt get removed if the trip does not happen. Pinky (Passport) the reserved def between providers and cities is a issue due to conflicting uses.
- More conversation around reserved https://github.com/openmobilityfoundation/mobility-data-specification/issues/417
- Dirk is planning a new PR to establish the reserved event type ambiguity
- Kegan should create new event type called future-hold to get away from confusion
- Let's clearly def the event type def between different APIs for now. Perhaps
- For the likely required new event type(s), let's wait until 0.5.0 spec release
-
https://github.com/openmobilityfoundation/mobility-data-specification/pull/427
- Dirk will update
- including stops as optional end point is this breaking?
- Charles (Jump) David (lyft) states including this in 0.4.1 would be difficult
- Jascha asks can this be experimental in 0.4.1?
- Need the end points def to be inline with GBFS
- related to https://github.com/openmobilityfoundation/mobility-data-specification/issues/428
- Kegan puts https://github.com/openmobilityfoundation/mobility-data-specification/issues/428 out there asking for feedback or PR
- Kegan will need to enum other parts of the API impacted by stops. Additional issues will come out of this.
- Kegan thx for the work on https://github.com/openmobilityfoundation/mobility-data-specification/pull/430
- Mark and Antonio have been working on long running https://github.com/openmobilityfoundation/mobility-data-specification/issues/271
- https://groups.google.com/a/groups.openmobilityfoundation.org/forum/#!topic/mds-city-services/PqqwcxNiPGk
- work on concensus recommendations found here https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1mjN-cgpya6Sci09t7wSpP41Hm-ok-fTa84qWWICA1Cc/edit?usp=sharing
- likely meeting will be published the ML for next week
- generally making provider canonical verses newer APIs
