High CPU Usage on examples

What you did
Running 2d sprite example using cargo run --example sprite

What you expected to happen
A sprite rendered with little to no CPU usage

What actually happened
A sprite rendered while using around 20% CPU

System Details:
AMD FX-8350
24GB DDR3 Memory
GTX 1660 Graphics Card

Cpu usage should go way down if you use cargo run --example sprite --release

Ah yeah it might not go down if your particular gpu setup supports mailbox vsync (which doesn't limit framerate).

Yeah it still jumps around from 13-23% usage on a release build

Ok thanks, if this is a WIP situation then I'll just have to deal with the high usage while working on a project till it gets fixed unless theres a quick fix available?

The quick fix is for us to revert to FIFO vsync until we have in-engine framelimiting. I'll throw together a pr now.
