Installing Mods

stairman06 edited this page Mar 22, 2020 · 1 revision

Minecraft Manager is designed to be easy to use. That's why you can install mods with one click.

  • Make sure the Profile you're going to install the mods in has a Modloader/Framework. You can't install mods without one
  • Go to Edit your profile, then to the Mods tab
  • Click "Add"
  • Search for the Mod you'd like. If you have a JAR file you'd like to use, you can click "from file" and choose that file
  • Simply click "install" to get the latest compatible version of the mod
    • If you don't want the latest version, you can click the mod and go to the Versions tab. From there, you can choose which version you'd like
  • You're all done! When you launch your Profile, you should have your mod installed!

A quick note about "Default Profiles"

Minecraft Manager includes what's called a "Default Profile." These are the Latest Release and Latest Snapshot Profiles. You cannot install mods to these.
