Zombie Horse Trap can spawn when it thunders.
Its behavior is exactly the same as Skeleton Horse Traps:
- A Zombie Horse Trap can spawn from a fraction of lightning generated naturally by a thunderstorm (0.75–1.5% chance on Easy, 1.5–4% on Normal, and 2.25–6.75% on Hard, depending on regional difficulty).
- The trap horse despawns after 15 minutes if not triggered (even if it is named).
- When triggered by a close player, the Zombie trap Horse transforms into a Zombie Horseman: a Zombie riding a Zombie Horse. It also spawns three additional Zombie Horsemen in the vicinity. They all wear enchanted Iron Helmets and hold an enchanted weapon.
- One is a Zombie holding an Iron Sword.
- One is a Zombie Villager holding an Iron Axe, guaranteed wearing an enchanted Diamond Chestplate (that can't be looted).
- One is a Husk holding an Iron Shovel.
- One is a Drowned holding a Trident.
- All of their armor is trimmed for style. As you can loot their equipment if lucky, you can loot trimmed armor.
- Zombie has a Shaper pattern with Lapis material.
- Zombie Villager has a Host pattern with Emerald material.
- Husk has a Dune pattern with Copper material.
- Drowned has a Coast pattern with Diamond material.
Zombie Horses move faster when ridden by mobs.
Zombie Horses move forward 2.5x faster when ridden by mobs.
This doesn't affect their speed alone or when ridden by players, as players ride them already at much higher speed.
The configuration of the Zombie Horse can be found in .minecraft/config/sihywtcamd/zombies.json
