Description

@mrveiss

Child of #14078. The work is safe — it is now a branch on origin, not only a stash entry.

Branch rescued/stash-2026-05-24-495ca57a2
Stash commit 495ca57a225d42e0b15ae508902b06c11fbeb994
Stashed 2026-05-24
Change 68 files changed, 174 insertions(+), 8521 deletions(-)
Applies to current base CONFLICTED
Original context issue-8258: 656b566 style: fix isort import ordering on LLC/services/tests files

Why this exists: the repo-wide stash stack held 113 entries spanning three months, unowned and
unlinked. This one's content is absent from Dev_new_gui — verified by git apply --check --3way
— so it is genuinely unfinished work, not a leftover of something that already landed.

Ask — a decision, not a deletion:

  1. Is this work still wanted? The original context above names where it came from (issue-8258 ).
  2. Wanted → rebase rescued/stash-2026-05-24-495ca57a2 onto Dev_new_gui, open a PR, land it.
  3. Not wanted → say so here with the reason, then delete the branch. A recorded decision, never a
    silent drop.

Note: this one does not apply cleanly to today's base — expect a real rebase, not a fast-forward.

Disposition: NOT WORK — this is a stale working-tree snapshot, and applying it would delete live code

The header numbers give it away: 68 files changed, 174 insertions, 8521 deletions, of which 38
    are whole-file deletions.

What the stash actually contains is a working tree that predated the LLC feature merge, snapshotted
after the branch had moved forward. It does not add anything; it removes the LLC subsystem.

    Evidence

    Check Result
    The 38 files the stash deletes 37 of 38 still exist in origin/Dev_new_gui today — llc/api/{context,labels,portability,templates}.py, llc/kb/{artifact_ingestor,collections,context_builder,diary_writer}.py, llc/models/{label,template,work_product}.py, llc/notifications/router.py, llc/services/label_service.py, six database/migrations/00[45]_* files, autobot_shared/field_encryption.py, and more
    The 1 exception llc/config.py, legitimately replaced by the llc/config/ package in 117572461d refactor(llc): consolidate config, terminal-status helper, key validation… (#9776, #9777, #9763) (#9829)
Its initialization/lifespan.py hunk strips _init_llc_outbound_sync() (GH#8257) and _start_llc_notification_router() (GH#8255). Base still calls both, and llc/sync/outbound_sync.py and llc/notifications/router.py are both live

Decision: there is no unfinished work here to finish. This is the residue of a branch switch,
not a change anyone authored, and applying it would remove shipped LLC functionality. Parent issue
    #8258 is CLOSED.

rescued/stash-2026-05-24-495ca57a2 is disposable — and unlike the other rescued branches it is
worth marking as do not apply. Left in place all the same; branch deletion is a separate
    deliberate act.
