places layer: node foundations, compounds, and archetype structures #882

Description

@zgeoff

Re-implement the spike's node-site system: deliberate structures tied to each node so destinations read as places.

Player story

Every destination on the map is somewhere: a foundation pad underfoot, a small compound of buildings around most, and some marked by a ring of posts, a flanking pylon pair, or a rare glowing spire. The marks feel deliberate — tied to the place, grander than the surrounding wastes — and nothing about a place's look reveals what you'll find there. Arriving somewhere feels like arriving.

Scope

  • Foundation pad + compound buildings drawn off the node's own hash (modest scale — pads billboard when oversized)
  • Archetype table by low-probability hash: plain / post ring / pylon pair / spire
  • Node-structure scale distinct from ambient scatter (~75% vs ~55%)
  • A test that visual archetypes carry zero correlation with sealed content (B-constraints)
