This is a cleaner approach than just passing the block along via yield https://www.rubydoc.info/gems/rubocop/RuboCop/Cop/Style/ExplicitBlockArgument

This is a set of small tweaks and tidyings up that Rubocop suggested - originally explored in #233 which was eventually dropped.
