Moving Objects

General notes on moving objects

Objects can only be moved to a compatible form.

A compatible form is one that has all the same fields, of the same type, with the same name. The options on the fields can be different.

Currently you can only move an object to a form that has the IDNO field set to manual. This is to ensure integrity of the IDNOs in MFCS. We anticipate this requirement being removed in a future release.

How To

1. Select "Move Objects" from the navigation menu
2. Select a form
3. search for objects. Keyword can be left blank on the Move form and a date search can be performed.
4. Select the objects to move
5. select a form to move them too. NOTE: only compatible forms will be available for selection.
6. Click the move button.

The results of the move will be displayed at the top of the page.
