It's not incorrect per say, but it's not very discoverable. I think it would be great to have the end of that section (from "It is also possible to extend the default JSX definitions") be its own section, since you may need it without using the HTMLAttributes type helper.

This seems kinda related to #11759 (extend global types). I wonder if a dedicated section for extending global types could make sense here... maybe something like:

### Add non-standard attributes to JSX definitions
### Using imports (to "resolve" #11759)
