It turns out that Class.getDeclaredAnnotation (also new in Java 8) is more efficient since we're only really interested in local presence and do not need all instances of a potentially repeatable annotation type here.

In comparison to our traditional loop, this doesn't need to clone the declared annotations array anymore. Otherwise it's a direct equivalent of what we had before, just with more concise code.
