I created a pull request based on the fix by @blumgart found here: #12 (comment)

I cloned the repository on a windows machine, I could verify:

  • Branch main does not currently work on windows (due to the same error)
  • Branch fix-windows-bug does work on windows now
  • Branch fix-windows-bug also still works on mac
