Click "Contacts ... Custom Searches" then click "Yahrzeit Search"
The "Yahrzeit Search" is the recommended means of:
- Finding/listing deceased individuals' yahrzeit dates during various date ranges
- Finding/listing mourners observing yahrzeits during various date ranges
- Creating various CRM smart groups
- Sending emails to mourners, such as to let them know about their upcoming yahrzeits
- Sending hard-copy reminder letters to the mourners
- Creating hard-copy lists of deceased names, mourner names to be read aloud during services
- Creating hard-copy weekly lists of deceased names for a volunteer to turn on/off light bulbs next to memorial plaques
Whenever you are sending emails, creating a PDF document, or editing a message template: Look for a button in the upper right labeled "Insert Tokens". Click on "Insert Tokens" then scroll until you see the section "Yahrzeits for this Mourner". (Notice: tokens are not aware of your search filters, so make sure your search filters make sense for the tokens you use)

- {yahrzeit.english_date___day_7} - 'English Yarzeit Date (evening) in exactly 7 days'
- {yahrzeit.morning_format_english___day_7} - 'English Yahrzeit Date (morning) in exactly 7 days'
- {yahrzeit.hebrew_date___day_7} - 'Hebrew Yahrzeit Date in exactly 7 days, transliterated'
- {yahrzeit.hebrew_date_hebrew___day_7} - 'Hebrew Yahrzeit Date in exactly 7 days, uses Hebrew letters'
- {yahrzeit.dec_death_english_date___day_7} - 'English Date of Death in exactly 7 days'
- {yahrzeit.dec_death_hebrew_date___day_7} - 'Hebrew Date of Death in exactly 7 days, transliterated'
- {yahrzeit.relationship_name___day_7} - 'Relationship of Deceased to Mourner in exactly 7 days'
- {yahrzeit.erev_shabbat_before___day_7} - 'Erev (evening) of the Shabbat before yahrzeit in exactly 7 days'
- {yahrzeit.shabbat_morning_before___day_7} - 'Morning of the Shabbat before yahrzeit in exactly 7 days'
- {yahrzeit.erev_shabbat_after___day_7} - 'Erev (evening) of the Shabbat after yahrzeit in exactly 7 days'
- {yahrzeit.shabbat_morning_after___day_7} - 'Morning of the Shabbat after yahrzeit in exactly 7 days'
- {yahrzeit.parashat_shabbat_before___day_7} - 'Parashat of the Shabbat before yahrzeit in exactly 7 days' (If no parasha, then the holiday is shown)
- {yahrzeit.parashat_shabbat_after___day_7} - 'Parashat of the Shabbat after yahrzeit in exactly 7 days' (If no parasha, then the holiday is shown)
Note: The number 7 in the token can be changed to any valid integer. Such as {yahrzeit.deceased_name___day_20}
Also the word 'day' can be changed to 'week' or 'month'
At the bottom of all Individual contacts, you will see the "Hebrew Birth Dates" section
For all deceased contacts, you will also see the "Yahrzeit Dates" section.
