Reproduction steps
- Download and install the Second Life 7.1.13.13816156139 viewer (https://github.com/secondlife/viewer/releases/tag/Second_Life_Release%23d8fa590-2025.03).
- Log in to the viewer and create a prim.
- Edit a new prim -> Enable the ‘Hide Water’ setting (Texture tab).
- Open the Inventory and drag and drop any material to any face of the prim.
- Observe the Texture tab of this face (Select Face enabled).
Actual result:
Drag and drop of material from inventory onto the face of an object that has "Hide Water" enabled does not disable the "Hide Water" setting for that object's face.
Also, the parameter ‘Glow’ is not available for editing.
Expected result:
Drag and drop of material from inventory onto the face of an object that has "Hide Water" enabled should be disabled per face.
Additional information:
This issue was found during ticket verification (#3512) in the scope of IQA #464.
This issue is reproduced on Win11 and OSX.
This issue is not reproduced on the current release 7.1.12.13550888671 build (The feature is not implemented yet).
Also, if the Textures tab editing tab is open during the transfer, the applied material is not immediately displayed there. You need to reselect the object's face.
This issue is not reproduced with pictures (Photo Album, Textures). In this case, the "Hide Water" setting is disabled for that object's face.
