Proposal Process

Recieve Proposal

The project office (PO) recieves a proposal and confirms this. It checks whether the basic criteria for a proposal are fulfilled, e.g. if there are mentors, initial committers etc., see here. If somethings needs to be corrected, the PO notifies the submitter and recieves an updated proposal. If the proposal is ready to be posted, the PO adds the proposal n the ecosystem wiki under "open proposals" and notifies the announcement list according to the proposal guidelines. The PO schedules an informal review, preferable in a WP telco. If nobody dis agrees, the proposal is accepted and the project can be created Project Creation.
