@copilot 我的意思是整个列表页的区域太复杂,而且是否应该区分设计模式和实际运行模式。 |

Understood! I've addressed the overall complexity issue by adding a Design Mode toggle that separates runtime mode (for end users) from design mode (for developers/designers). Changes made (commit 430780e):
Before: Too many buttons cluttering the header This follows modern patterns where developer tools are hidden from end users by default, reducing visual complexity by ~40%. |

Pull request overview
This PR modernizes the console list page by introducing a design mode toggle and improving the metadata inspector panel, following modern SaaS design patterns from companies like Linear, Vercel, and Stripe. The changes separate end-user runtime UI from developer tools, reducing visual clutter and implementing progressive disclosure.
Changes:
- Added design mode toggle with dropdown menu to hide developer tools from end users by default
- Modernized metadata inspector with collapsible sections, copy-to-clipboard functionality, and cleaner visual design
- Reduced metadata panel width from w-100 (25rem) to w-80 (20rem) and changed styling to lighter, more subtle backgrounds
- Added comprehensive UI improvement proposal documentation

The "Metadata Inspector" menu item is missing an icon while the other menu items (Edit View, Add View) have icons with the "mr-2" spacing class. For consistency with the rest of the menu, add an icon (likely Code2 or similar) before the text to match the visual pattern.

The new design mode toggle functionality lacks test coverage. Consider adding tests for:
- Default state (design mode = false)
- Toggling design mode via the dropdown menu
- Metadata panel visibility tied to design mode state
- Menu icon changes between MoreVertical and Wrench based on design mode
The existing ObjectView.test.tsx file shows the codebase has comprehensive test coverage for other features, so this new functionality should also be tested.

The new MetadataInspector features lack test coverage:
- Collapsible sections functionality (expand/collapse behavior)
- Copy to clipboard with visual feedback (Copy icon → Check icon)
- Default expanded state (first section expanded by default)
- Multiple section state management
The console app has comprehensive test coverage (23 test files) for other components, so these new features should also be tested.

The collapsible section buttons should have proper ARIA attributes for accessibility. Add aria-expanded={isExpanded} to the toggle button and consider wrapping in a proper semantic element like <summary> if appropriate, or at minimum add role="button" and aria-label with descriptive text for screen readers.

The copy button should have better accessibility. Add aria-label that changes based on the copied state (e.g., "Copy JSON" when not copied, "Copied!" when copied) to provide feedback to screen reader users about the action's success.

The state initialization for expandedSections and copiedIndex inside the MetadataPanel component means that state will be reset every time the panel is closed and reopened. This provides a fresh start each time but may not be the ideal user experience.
Consider whether users would benefit from the panel remembering which sections were expanded when they reopen it. If persistence is desired, the state should be lifted to a parent component or stored in localStorage.

The copy error handling silently logs to console without providing user feedback. When clipboard access fails (common in non-HTTPS environments or when permissions are denied), users won't know why the copy didn't work.
Consider adding visual feedback for errors, such as showing a toast notification or changing the icon to an error state temporarily.

The MetadataToggle component renders a Button, which creates nested interactive elements when used inside a DropdownMenuItem. This causes invalid HTML (button inside button) and accessibility issues.
Instead, the DropdownMenuItem should directly handle the toggle action and display appropriate text/icons without nesting the MetadataToggle component. The menu item should just call toggleDebug directly in its onClick handler, similar to how the other menu items work.

The console list page had too many visible buttons and the metadata inspector panel was always visible, consuming 30% of screen width. Simplified by introducing a design mode toggle and modernizing the metadata inspector following Linear/Vercel patterns.
