Edge (main branch) builds failing, needs investigation

Upgraded minimum C++ merged into main now maybe? Might need to update pieces in the setup script or even the base image.

gcc-12 has been the minimum supported compiler since Node.js 23. Probably some recent commit on main has now introduce a break on earlier versions of gcc.

Opened #74 to update.
