This is not correct. I forked the bash version before they switched to python.

This second PR is dedicated to backend tools
This PR contains only 2 commits
and have been built on my previous PR ( #4 )
So first, merge my previous PR..
I have two more PR waiting, after this one. One for a bunch of minor fixes, and one for another new option.
And I will have merge everything uptstream : )
