    I'll take a look in the morning. From the message it looks like:

                if logger.isEnabled(type: level) {

    but that api is available on iOS:

    @available(macOS 11.0, iOS 14.0, watchOS 7.0, tvOS 14.0, *)
    public struct Logger : @unchecked Sendable {

        public func isEnabled(type: OSLogType) -> Bool

    What version of iOS 26 did you use? I just checked a device I have running 26.4 and the symbol is present.

    OK, found the issue (incorrect availability on that method). Looking into replacement -- I will prepare a patch release with this. Thanks for the report!!

    @pmanot

    @davidkoski I think the cleanest fix for this would be to use OSLog.isEnabled (which is present on 26.2) and initialize Logger with OSLog

    Agreed, but it doesn't work :-). Well, it is marked as unavailable, so it is a build error :-)

    See #493 -- I tested that on 16.2 and it runs.

    ah, just saw this - I'll rework my PR

    could you share the specific error + your Xcode version? it seems to compile fine for me on Xcode 27.0 beta, build 27A5237l

    I am on 27A266a (27.0 release build) and see:

    'os_log_type_enabled' has been replaced by instance method 'OSLog.isEnabled(type:)'
    'os_log_type_enabled' was obsoleted in Swift 3
