GeoJsonSourcefor the route line. We should add aGeoJsonOptionsobject as a third argument that has a maxzoom of 16 to prevent the stencil mask overflow error outlined in mapbox/mapbox-gl-native#9529 (comment) that results from a mismatch of the maxzoom of the various sources.
