Hard to believe this is 2025 already.
According to [1], the description field is limited to 255 chars. [1] https://github.com/openstack/cinder/blob/21af57108f9f67ce9e5af78a6b7eef0d3f828576/cinder/db/sqlalchemy/models.py#L367
So that operator-sdk knows about it.
