Intesishome sync error

The problem

At the moment, I get issues with operation mode becoming desynchronized on my deployment. For instance, I have HASS believing the AC is running, when it is not, and vice-versa.

Having recently upgraded I'm now facing this issue as well. Shows up as exactly the same behavior as the last bug (33459)

I get one error, then it remains de-sync'd, no further error messages are recorded.
