Description of the bug

I noticed that MistChristmas recently did a pass on fixing two hotkeys and remembered that one of mine is also recently broken. Earlier the Numpad (.) would save as Numpad_period and now it simply saves as the normal keyboard period. I thought I'd ask if this could also be fixed.

What's the difference with what should have happened?

Before, I would save emote *thumbsup as Numpad period, then it stopped working. I went to rebind it to fix it and it rebound as simply period (.).

How do we reproduce this bug?

Join game after hotkeys got changed?
Hit hotkey, doesn't work.
Rebind hotkey, keybind designation changes.
Cannot use keybind.
