Any chance to have perhaps a docker-compose.yml with all the steps in one of the application or library page? Maybe mapping the local sources to a volume in the container, so users can try it with less commands? (I'm a bit rusty in Groovy & Gradle as I use more Java and Maven, so I will need a day with at least a couple hours to spare to carefully follow the instructions 🙂 it'd be a lot simpler with a container or simpler instructions)

Added docker-compose file that can be used to start an interactive shell w. groovy available on the command line, updated documentation.

Hi @kinow, we have more clearly documented examples of how carnival can be incorporated into projects. We have also included some example scripts, and a docker-compose file that can be used to run them as an alternative to installing groovy. The instructions are here:
