@alloy i was trying to check this out: #771
got frustrated with npm shrinkwrap. as for mailcheck, they haven't yet actually released the new version which might contain the fix for the bug.
i compared the output in shrinkwrap and yarn and the only differences are minor version changes and patch changes, which are permissible under the carat versions (^X.x.x) we've specified in the package.json.
