Enforce Console
integration.usepolicies for MCP servers and external plugins. The protected policy plugin filters the MCP catalog throughctx.mcp.transform; denied servers never connect, removed connections close and clear their tools/resources, and lifting a restriction restores them. External plugin checks run before package installation/import and unload denied plugins on updates. Policy and authentication plugins remain protected.Switch tool policies exclusively to
tool.use, with nopermissionalias, and regenerate the public client types. Managed-config parsing skips unsupported action statements and unknown fields while preserving supported statement order and organization precedence. Malformed supported statements still fail validation; a failed refresh retains the last valid configuration. Unknown actions are not enforced.Companion to anomalyco/opencode-console#3237 and the merged Controls work in #3171. Targets
v2; skill support is stacked in #53783. Installed clients need an upgrade to receive these parser and action changes.Validation: 180 core tests across seven suites and eight schema tests passed on Bun 1.4.2, covering MCP/plugin enforcement, Console fetch/refresh behavior, future actions, malformed known statements, tool precedence and approvals. Full repository
bun run checkpassed (36 tasks; existing lint warnings), client generation and formatting checks passed. Not released or deployed.CI fixture fix: snapshot and tool-output tests configure the shared plugin config service directly. All 409 focused plugin/configuration tests and the full repository checks passed on Bun 1.4.2.
