Clarification needed: how cells.tsv is used in the punkst xenium pipeline

Hello,
I had a question regarding the Xenium input format.
In the Input → Xenium section of the documentation, there is mention of converting the Xenium cells data into a cells.tsv file. However, I couldn’t find any explanation in the documentation or code comments about how cells.tsv is actually used in the punkst pipeline after this conversion.

Could you please clarify:

• Where in the pipeline cells.tsv is consumed?
• What role it plays in downstream steps?

This clarification would be very helpful for understanding the data flow and ensuring correct preprocessing, since the images we do think our final results can be improved if we include our cells.tsv.
