Current Situation

#4483 (comment) ran into issues with the catalog's installation docs and translating them to ov. The situation might improve with #4491 but regardless, it'd be nice to make the recipes work without relying on explicitly sourcing the catalog's venv.

Suggested Improvement

Change catalog/install to always install inside the venv. This doesn't need to use source, there might be other ways of doing it. If it's possible for the catalog to use pdm locally, that'd be great too.

Benefit

Make the catalog's venv work seamlessly in ov.
