Vee's connection check previously proved only that Connect returned a token. It now checks credentials, Slack account identity, MCP initialization, and an actual read separately. Authorization, scopes, provider configuration, rate limits, and outages have distinct redacted codes.

The release now defaults to a closed two-user pilot. Personal Slack reconnects resume without repeating consent, and broader rollout requires explicit configuration. Eve hooks record per-turn tokens, latency, tool failures/rejections, and completion without recording source content. The model is unchanged, with no automatic pre-search, indexing, summaries, or scheduled model calls.

Instructions select authoritative sources instead of forcing Notion searches. Documentation covers migration, the durable write-attempt store, recovery, and the pending live pilot. The generic URL-fetch tool is disabled because its server-side requests and redirects bypass the provider destination controls. Public web tools, shell execution, and delegation remain outside this first release.

Stack: 3 of 3, based on #16, which depends on #15. Review and merge bottom-up. Keep all three draft until the complete stack and live two-user pilot pass.

Validation:

  • pnpm test: 46 passing tests.
  • pnpm typecheck: passed.
  • pnpm build: passed.
  • Live GitHub credential, MCP handshake, and repository read: passed.
  • Live checks distinguish missing authorization for the existing Notion, Granola, and AgentMail subjects from Calendar's missing connector. The checked per-user Slack grant requires authorization.

Deployment prerequisites remain: two pilot users and their consent, service authorization/configuration, and VEE_ACTION_REDIS_REST_URL / VEE_ACTION_REDIS_REST_TOKEN. No grants were revoked, provider writes attempted, or broader rollout enabled. The complete pilot matrix and recovery procedure are in docs/rollout.md.
