Motivation:

  • RxJS has this from feature and it's simple awesome, so, why not included it :)

Example

Observable.from("foo").subscribe(new StringPrinterObserver());

Output:

onNext : f
onNext : o
onNext : o
onCompleted

Probably better suited to the https://github.com/ReactiveX/RxJavaString project.
