That "while wet" thingy is a fun gimmick, but it is really unreliable, it suffers from same problem as minecraft trident enchantment riptide, it simply doesn't work when you need it. We can aid that making wet status persist for some time after leaving water and by giving player a way to make themselves wet on demand without needing natural sources of water (eg. water bucket)

Yeah, you would stay wet for a little while after, kinda like in Noita.
If there's enough underwater enemies, underwater strunctures, and flooded caves, I think it could be useful enough.

Unless there will be more than in Minecraft, it will not be enough by itself. But by tweaking how long you stay wet we can try to balance that.

Btw it could also allow staying longer underwater when used on armor as a modifier for armor.
