GNOME is a modern, clean, and elegant desktop environment (DE). It's a bit resource-heavy and not as easily customizable as other DEs, but the unique experience it provides is sleek, cohesive, and efficient and extensions are available for increased options and functionality. If you have a powerful PC and love smooth, minimalist design, this might be the perfect DE for you!
