[Bug]: Scrolling up to the latest inserted item at the top of the notifications list doesn't mark it as read #1359

Describe the bug

I'm not entirely sure if this is a bug, but it looks/feels like one, possibly topically related to #1321.

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Keep Tuba open on the "Notifications" page
  2. Receive some notification in the meantime (ex: someone favorited a toot)
  3. Scroll up to see that notification item in the app's notification page list thingy, i.e. even scroll up to the top

Result: the notification unread counter on the "Notifications" item of the sidebar remains non-zero, even though you did display the notifications purposefully (while scrolling, and staying in front of it long enough to presumably have read it).

The notifications counter only gets cleared by clicking it (or switching to a different view and coming back to it), but that feels a bit unnatural/undiscoverable and unneccessary work?
