Already discussed a bit in #3553, but currently on the Wii version, if an error message has to be displayed on-screen (e.g. player teleported to a map that does not exist), the Player just turns the screen black and then exit the program without ever informing the player what is the issue (enabling logging and reading the log file is required to find that info).
