Summary

Found while updating PROMPT.md: the runbook's one-time setup bootstrapped polly-upstream at the ADR 0002 fork commit (47e3b412), but a hand-sync already carried the repo to upstream 173d6d1d on 2026-08-24, before this runbook existed — five Dependabot-only commits (codeql-action, xunit, dotnet, Microsoft.NET.Test.Sdk, Refit.HttpClientFactory), applied by hand, now on main via the rename branch (259da7550, merged in PR #2).

Bootstrapping from 47e3b412 isn't a correctness bug — those five commits would land in the auto-skip bucket regardless (ADR 0003, D5) — but it's noise the first sync doesn't need. Corrected to bootstrap at 173d6d1d instead.

Test plan

  • N/A — documentation only. No escaped markdown.

The one-time setup pinned polly-upstream at the ADR 0002 fork commit
(47e3b41), but a hand-sync already carried the repo to upstream
173d6d1d on 2026-08-24, before this runbook existed. Bootstrap there
instead, so the first Step 1 diff doesn't re-surface five commits
that are already reflected on main.
