Description
Goal
Provide clear and user-friendly UI feedback for iCloud sync status
and error conditions in DevNotes.
Context
Users should always understand whether their notes are syncing,
paused, failed, or unavailable due to iCloud issues.
Lack of visibility leads to confusion and loss of trust.
Scope
- Sync status indicator (idle / syncing / error)
- Error states and retry hints
- iCloud disabled or unavailable warnings
UI Expectations
- Non-intrusive indicators (no blocking modals)
- Clear, human-readable messages
- Consistent design aligned with DevNotes theme
Acceptance Criteria
- User can clearly see current sync state
- Error states are explained in plain language
- iCloud disabled state is detected and communicated
- UI remains responsive during sync
