runs to 4 steps per step

at first i thought i only understood the code wrong but, it runs through the complete self.mode array per step. A code should only jump one array further and not through the complete array. so one step becomes 4.

I have 2 stepper, same kind (28BYJ-48) but they don't rotate the same with the same command. One will do the whole rotation (360°) with step(128) when the otherone will do only 90° with the same step 128 -- so actually whole rotation is step(512), which looks more correct.
both have the same writing on it STEP MOTOR 28BYJ-48 5VDC, but one has 1:16 in addition
any idea what it comes from ?

sorry I never encounter of that, and never work with two stepper in the same time. I think the command shouldn't be error. The power may the problem more like, because I have meet the low power problem with battery before. more informaction see https://github.com/IDWizard/uln2003, this project fork that for esp32.

I think I was not clear, but it won't make any difference for your answer. I have 2 different steppers, I don't use them at the same time but one after the other in the same circuit. So it's very strange that they are not doing the same. one is rotating about 4 times more than the other...
