You can give it the permission and then turn off specific notification channels that you don't like. But I really don't know why people don't want to give the notification permission. The notifications are really necessary (file operations, FTP server) and I have no incentive to send anything unnecessary because I have to write extra code for that.

I've got the idea that it could help, still that's not apparent and not very clean.
The notifications are really necessary (file operations, FTP server) and I have no incentive to send anything unnecessary because I have to write extra code for that.
Well obviously because I don't consider these necessary and don't want to be notified. Also, I don't want unexpected apps to be shown in "App notifications" listing.
App annoyingly asks for notification permissions I'm not going to give it after most actions. It should instead ask once at most.
