it'll be great to have ACP support, could you open a PR and check with the author @wingleeio
i think ACP sounds like the proper direction for an app like comet to take, i'm investigating this and it might be something i'll take on myself.
Great! ACP is in a bit of a mess, there's a V1 and a new V2 version (is currently in draft), for now I recommend you to implement the V1, and in the future implement v2 in a separate path, because many things are about to change. If you need help, tag me in a PR, I have experience making ACP first apps.

Are you considering in the roadmap to make Comet compatible with the ACP protocol? I can work on the compatibility layer, this would allow users to add any acp compliant agent, like Pi, Hermes, or whatever, without the need to make custom adapters for each one of them.
