Glance issues - a.17

• I have read the instructions.
• I have searched existing issues and avoided creating duplicates.
• I am not filing an enhancement request.

What happened?

1. open a glance

on closing it automatically shifts you to the next tab

2. open a glance

close the tab using the middle click
tab closes not the glance

3. open a glance

close the tab using the keyboard shortcut "ctrl+w"
tab closes but the padding doesn't restore

in all the above cases:

the tabbar in compact mode might not close and remain open
the whole ui can become unresponsive
a restart would fix it

• I have checked that this issue cannot be reproduced on Mozilla Firefox.

I believe this is the same bug as #2459. At least Number 3.

Right, which means a single fix won't solve all the problems. Take a look at the new Twilight build that implies this bug is fixed. But it's not totally fixed because it's more than one bug.
