confusion about `open_like`

I'm confused about what the open_like function is supposed to do. It takes an array-like object as a parameter, but it also attempts to load an existing zarr array from storage.

Presumably an in-memory array-like object isn't very useful for loading a pre-existing zarr array from storage, so I'm not sure what the point of this function is.

My limiting understanding is that it's just a helper to prevent not needing to copy out shape, chunks, dtype, order, compressor/codecs and filters information from an existing array to create another. If one already exists at that path, though, things definitely get less clear.
